Having just last month gone through almost the same situation, Quick, I can completely sympathize on your situation. I'm sure all will go smoothly in the operation and your wife will come out the other side.....sad, but healthy. It will take some time for her to heal, but I assure you you will both get through it after a while.

Update :
So to those that got upset with my original post i apologize.
I am differnet from others i suppose. There are many gamers out there not many like me.
I play game for reasons other then a hobby.
I am highly competitive obviously dont do well in large socail situations casue of my alpha irish mentality, so i get online drink with my buds an an iforget about the high octane dangerous job i have to slave at 12 hours a day 5 days a week. I am a industrial mechaninc at a glass house.. Its hot loud an dangerous. I need relaxtion when i get home from work.
Whiskey gaming an STB do that for me.
Each game i commit to i become part of the community i extend my friendship an loyalty to those on forum or in squad. My post here the other day was becasue unlike some of you i have alot of friends here on the community.
I look to you guys somtimes for advice an in this case support. In future i will use the locker room or my recruitment thread to avoid upsetting the minority we all know how they can be.
So my wife an i lost the baby. they id 2 surgerys an she is home now hopefully healthy..
It was by far the worst day of my life.
I again thank you all for prayers, words of encouragment an comfort and most of all the reciprocated sense of community an family that most of you have shown.
Whether its in a game or in RL we have all decided to come to gether here an be a part of one anthoers lives. It may be small but each of us everyday impact eachother.

I am sorry for your loss quick, You are an ass hat sometimes and some things you say I don't like occasionally.. but that is on a gaming level. On a personal level , I don't take any of that stuff to thought.. So my best wishes for you and your wife over the next few months. Not sure if this was to be your first child, but if it was do not dwell on it to much in the future with choices on having another child. Sometimes things just happen that nobody can predict or understand why( as i'm, sure you know), and does not mean it will always be the same outcome. See you on the field |
