1. Passive sp gain only for players who don't play as often OR reduced passive sp gain the more you play
I feel this would balance the skill level between players more so that you can play a little or a lot and still be around the same sp amount. The bonus to playing a lot is getting more isk.
2. In skirmish mode, spawn times decrease when all points have been captured by opponents OR spawn times increase if yout team has captured all points.
This might balance the issue with players being able to camp the spawn points. |

I guess the problem with this system is that I face the top tier players because I have 2 million sp, while they have much more.
Maybe the change needs to be made with the way matches are set up, and the amount of players in this game. Hopefully some of these issues fix themselves once the game is released. |

Also, today I was playing a skirmish match and the opponents were using two dropships to literally spawn camp us. Our team got a total of 6 kills, it was the worst match of dust I've ever played. This needs to have a solution too.
As for the passive sp it's 1000 sp/hr. I'm not saying it should be removed for those who play the game a lot, but maybe reduced.
This is only because some people, such as me, only get to play this game about 2 days out of the week. This means I am slowly lagging behind everyone else just because other people have less responsibilities than I do.
Maybe the best solution is to increase the amount of sp you gain if you don't play the game for a day.
For instance player A gets to participate in 20 battles over two nights. at an average of 10k per battle, that's 200k sp +the 48k from two days of passive to equal about 250k sp.
Player B doesn't play the first night, but gets to participate in 10 battles the second night, and going with the same average gets 100k + 50k passive for 150k sp total.
With this other idea implemented, those 10 battles might increase to an average of 12k per battle for a total of 120k sp and 50k sp passive for a total of 170k instead. 5 days of not playing could increase that amount to an average of 20k per battle, but in any case there would still be an sp cap to prevent any sort of advantage of playing this way. It just allows players to play however much they want to and still be able to enjoy the game. |
