Some vehicles look indestructible, it's not funny if they can kill you from his base. And it seems there is no balance system, i don't know. Sometimes you get boring because the enemy can't do nothing, and sometimes you say "****" because you can get out of your CMM. Just to say what i see. Some dropship like Myron making circles over your head, and killing all because the missiles go straight to you, it doesn't looks fair. Because maybe you're not a good player (like me), you have not so much ISK to spend, and you have not too much skill and you just can't do anything against vehicles. Force Gun against some vehicles look as fresh air in my face. And with a Myron making circles you can't hit it too much and gets recovery kinda fast. Just what i feel, some vehicles, or vehicles configurations overpowered, and balance system, i don't know. I don't think that new player can learn something or enjoy the game against a good corp plus good player. The game is nice. (Sorry for the english). See you |

Lol, yeah, i know. Sometimes you can destroy vehicles, but i guess, others have a very good configuartion and you can't shoot them 10 times with a force gun, before they kill you or maybe there is a way to do it but i don't know it |

It's actually hard to run if the enemy has personnel and a pair of Dropships just raining missiles down on spawn locations.
I'm adding a dropship skill set to my character but only hope to use it for personnel transport as intended. There should be an adjustment on missiles vs infantry. Blasters can kill really fast up close but so can missiles and you don't need the same skill to aim them. Just shoot in the general direction and hit with 5m of splash damage.
They should do like engineer "missiles" from Battlefield 2142 where they were really powerful against installations and vehicles but had almost no splash damage and wouldn't hit infantry unless the shell itself hit.
While people would still complain about swarms not catching up they wouldn't complain so much about dropships being overpowered because they'd have to get pretty up-close and personal in order for gunners to hit with blasters, shifting the dropship role back to a transport one rather than offensive attack ship. |

As somebody else said earlier in a different thread, buff swarms first ( speed) and see how that plays out. If that's not enough, remove missiles altogether from drop ships. It's a transport vehicle: open a drop zone with the blasters and use the forge gun to deter vehicle attacks, drop your troops, go get more.... Otherwise it's being used as an offensive aerial attack vehicle, which is not it's intended role; if it were, it wouldn't be called a dropship. |
