The purpose of this alliance is to help us fill our corp squads as we often play without full squads due to our small rosters. Also, as the majority of those looking to join a corp primarily join corps with huge existing rosters, this will give us small corps a chance to gain some extra experience while letting us still have a chance to grow on our own. Decisions within the alliance beyond mere squading are made by all allied CEOs with myself also acting as facilitator and mediator. If you are a small corp CEO interested in team based squad play (with mics) and are interested in joining an alliance (but are not currently apart of an existing alliance), let me know here or via DUST message. BTW, I invite all allied corp CEOs to create their corp forums @ http://www.eojmarket.com/Dust514/ where we can share public boards with all those in the alliance while private corp boards will also be provided. I moved my forum there for increased functionality such as private messaging, more open post functionality to include pics and video, and the forum will not be bothered by DUST updates. Let me know if you're interested.
*NOTE1: As the alliance must be self governing among the allied CEOs as there is no Alliance UI currently, do not exploit the agreed alliance to recruit from within each others' corps. Doing so will most likely blackball your corp from all other allied corps. *NOTE2: If there are any player conflicts between allied corps, being it not liking someone else's playstyle or an actual argument, please bring these up to the player or corp CEO's at the very least. That way we can learn from each other while keeping everyone willing to play together. Afterall, if you simply avoid or ignore a player or corp because of a conflict and they never know why, that could cause increasing rifts between allied corps defeating the purpose of the alliance. *NOTE3: Competitive but friendly corp battles are encouraged between allied corps. Remember no matter what happens on the battlefield, your allies are still your allies. Also, whenever fighting with or opposing allies, please constructively give feedback on how to improve and what was done well. *NOTE4: Please follow the following priority when squadding up as we need to make squadding up between allied corp members a priority over squadding with unaffiliated players:
- Corp Members
- Alliance Members
- Other Contacts
*NOTE5: Allied CEOs may invite other CEOs to the alliance. Allied CEOs must have discretion in doing so where the corp size, other existing alliances, and professionalism of the intended corp is given consideration prior to giving out channel info. If any allied CEO has questions about this, please contact me via DUST mail or the alliance channel. After inviting a CEO, please forward the corp name and CEO to me so I can update this post.

I already have a temporary name for now but we can all agree upon one once actual Alliance options come available. As for you, Ssensei of T.A.K.E., I am fine with adding you as I see no reason not to, but to be fair I must ask for Jame's approval also. Afterall, all in the alliance must be equitable for this to succeed and be fruitful. Ssensei, I will send you the particulars once approved. *EDIT: If I do not hear back from James by the time I get on tonight, silence will be seen as compliance where I will send Ssensei the necessary info.
Speaking of being equitable, I updated the first post. If you have any suggestions or feedback on the notes I added, please let me know. |

I sent Ssensei the info Friday but have not seen him on yet. I've seen James online but have missed squadding up with him so far too. Never fear though as I and a couple of my corp mates are on quite a bit. Therefore, if you're a small corp that would like to fill a squad with players that will actually work with you, please reply with a request for channel info. |

That's a good question, Villanor, which is why I've been thinking of raising the req up to 12 members or so and as long as you start within the alliance, you can stay as long as you want no matter how much you grow (as long as you do not poach or consistently cause conflicts). I will put some thought into the reqs provided and will update the first post when finalized. Until then, any CEO interested in joining the channel, send a request. I still see alot of small corps out there with very little or no stats on the leaderboards. When I started my corp, I normally played in a squad with only one other corp mate. Now that my corp has grown slightly and we established common playtimes, I now play in a full squad with my corp mates pretty often and my warpoints per match have doubled. Therefore, a full squad does not only provide you greater safety in numbers, but more warpoints. That is why I believe if you are a small corp, it'd be in your best interest to join the small corp channel.
@ Tanis - I'd suggest you'd look into joining a corp although I would not suggest you immediately go to whomever has the biggest roster as quite a few do. In any case, be sure to do some research on a corp before sending an app to make sure it will fit you. After all, the corp will most likely do some research on you too. |

BTW, Tanis, you can look into my corp, The Exemplars, if you want. The only problem with my corp is we are a pretty small corp playing primarily evenings during weekdays (due to jobs) although we play quite a bit on weekends. We do have a player availlable mornings as he is a 3rd shifter but he only plays when there are corp mates to play with. In short, there is not always someone online from my corp so I am not sure you would feel it's the best fit for you unless you have around the same schedule. If you're interested though, feel free to send an app.
Back to subject, please send me a request either via a reply here or via DUST message if anyone wants access to the small corp channel. |

The only purpose of this alliance right now is support each other via squading up. Through squading up, we can share game knowledge in-game while also increasing individual corp stats which thereby increases player likelihood to apply to our corps. All in all, our alliance increases our individual corp's longevity. If anybody within the alliance has an agenda to propose beyond that, it must be discussed with all of the alliance's CEOs. Right now, I like our current understanding as it is simple; we help each other without requiring much from each other as all that is required is mere cooperation via squading.
As for time zones, all of The Exemplars are located within the US with the majority playing primarily evenings. We do have a couple of early and heavily invested players though. |

To all those who have requested channel info but had not received it, please let me know. I have been sending out the channel info via invite and apparently the invites are not sending (thanks to Ssensei for pointing out).
@ Ssensei - Sorry about yesterday. I was planning on squadding up with you but my PS3 froze soon after. When I tried to start DUST after the freeze, I got an internal error where I couldn't get back on for quite a while.
@ Echo Pack - The corps within the alliance wish to retain their individuality. The CEOs are still in charge of their own corps; remaining unhindered by the alliance as long as the CEOs do nothing to hinder the alliance.
@ Gundo Sens - Truthfully, their has been little communication on the alliance channel aside from my corp, possibly due to channel invite problems (noted above). As this problem has been noticed and I am attempting to resolve, I am hoping the channel will be brought to its true potential SOON.
@ Rugman91 - Are you a CEO of a corp or an individual player? If you are indeed a CEO, I'll see about sending you the info tonight. If you are an individual player already apart of a selected corp, you can join the Merc Squadron Deployment channel (which I am also on) as it was built for squadding up with other players with open squads. If you are an individual player without a selected corp, you can join the alliance by joining one of our allied corps. |

Unfortunately, the channel info for those who have requested will have to wait until I get online this evening.
I think as I am both on the forum and in-game alot (plus it being my idea), I've became the main voice of our little alliance. You allied CEOs have a voice too though so let me and your other allied CEOs know if you want to discuss anything alliance related, preferably via the channel or DUST mail (so our internal business is not publicly aired). With the limited DUST corp/alliance game options, I doubt there will be anything beyond squadding to be discussed but I just wanted that noted just in case. |

Finally got use of the alliance channel last night between The Exemplars and Deep Space Republic. So far though, our corp squads have been consistently on opposite teams. Hopefully, we'll be able to actually play on the same team some time soon so we can engage in team chat.
BTW, I found a couple players from default corps have somehow found their way onto the channel. Either someone within the alliance invited them or they recently joined an allied corp and their old corp name is still shown. In any case, please forward channel info only to allied corp mates. I'd like the Alliance to be somewhat close-knit and that can't happen if everyone has channel access.
Finally, there is still room in the alliance for other small and/or start-up corps. If you are an interested CEO, please send me a request for channel access. |

@ SUP3RMAN - Your query is still in-process.
Rugman91 has suggested the alliance go further than mere squadding and do corp battles where the alliance ensures everyone holds up to their end. I think that is fine and a majority vote is not necessary as those allied corps not wanting involved in corp battles can merely refuse involvement. Furthermore, I wouldn't mind creating brackets for corp battle tournaments if we want to do corp battles to that extent as I have act as host for many tournaments for other games in the past. |

From what I've heard from quite a few in the community is alliance options are a certainty; just no specifics have been given on how those alliance options will work. My alliance options thread has started to pick up traction so hopefully that will aid in CCP's implementation of alliance options.
As for corp battles, anyone within the alliance hit me up as I have some extra ISK I wouldn't mind putting on the line. We'll most likely have to go squad vs squad though as our corps are still relatively small.
As for squadding up within the alliance, we need to make sure everyone within the alliance is squadding up according to the following priority:- Corp Members
- Alliance Members
- Other Contacts
As my corp has grown and I have alot of contacts between corps, I often run in a full squad. Let me know if you need a squad and I will follow the priority stated above.
There's still room in the alliance for other small corps needing squads filled or are interested in trying out smaller corp battles. |

I'm surprised more small corps, especially start-ups, are not interested in joining our alliance to cooperate in a common and currently achievable goal. After all, it's been built to the benefit of all allies and I hope to actually create ties now to open up more possibilities later when the release finally comes. |

Over the past week, I've seen a lot of players from smaller (and even bigger corps) playing by themselves in matches. Don't depend on randoms; join the small corp alliance. Ask your corp's CEO about joining the small corp alliance. The more players we have, the stronger we will be. If you think your corp is too small for corp battles, your corp isn't too small in the small corp alliance as the alliance has set up and played matches as little as 2 vs 2. Allied CEOs and players are also willing to help with questions on the alliance channel so you don't have to deal with sarcastic or plain unhelpful answers as you do in other channels. Reply here, send DUST mail, or get with me on the XMPLR channel if you want to see about becoming a small corp ally. |

Been having fun playing small corp battles with allied corps. I'd like to do more though. Therefore, if you're a small corp looking to do smaller corp battles (4 vs 4, 2 vs 2, etc), the easiest route would be to join the alliance as you'd have direct chat to all other allied corps. If you don't want to join the alliance though, you can still throw down the gauntlet to any of the alliance corp CEOs (listed in OP) via DUST mail. We'd prefer to battle within the alliance as our alliance battles have all adhered to predetermined guidelines but we are open to battle other small corps as well. |

I plan on keeping track of those CEOs who have been apart of the alliance after the wipe as their corp names may change. As I am mostly frugal within DUST as I am within real life, if 1B ISK is truly required, it may take a little while but should not take too long (as long as ISK rewards will stay somewhat as they have been). Until then, the alliance can likely operate in the new build via a secure chat channel as we have been.
As always, we are still open to other corps joining. If you are interested or have questions about joining, please send them to me via DUST mail or contact me via the XMPLR channel. Making the alliance in EVE would make it much easier for me as I not only would I not have to worry about starting capital, but someone else would have to take the reigns as facilitator as I have no direct ties to EVE. Still, I would prefer to try things via DUST as we have been. Besides, someone has to test alliance UI from the DUST side (if it will even be available when we move to TQ). @ Allies - Seems to me only a few allies have made it back onto the alliance channel. If you're having trouble accessing the channel since the wipe, please let me know so I can get you back on the channel. If your corp or CEO name has changed since the wipe, please let me know so I can properly update the first post. If you have decided you're not coming back to the channel, let me know so I can properly update the first post. I'd like to get corp battles going again. In fact, I would like it if every corp made a serious effort to battle against an allied corp every Friday once we hit open beta. Going strictly corp against corp, squad against squad, lets you know how well your corp works as a team. Plus, your allies may provide beneficial feedback after battle. After all, we should all have plenty of ISK with the capped SP and corp contracts start at only 100K. Speaking of contracts, always be sure to agree upon corp battle restrictions before buying into a corp battle.
@ Everyone Else - Right now, we are a loose running alliance operating via a secure channel. If you're a small corp CEO trying to get their corp going or an existing corp CEO without many active players, think about joining the alliance. After all, you remain independent with your corp while joining a bigger team of players to squad with and learn from. |

There is no word on when the corp boards here will be fixed. 2. The new corp board can be accessed via PS3 browser (which cannot via dust514.com). 3. There is private messaging available when wanting to respond to a post outside of the post. If you are interested in possibly getting a private board there as well most possibly for a small fee, please contact me via DUST mail or PSN message (PSN ID=spddmn). @ Allies - Adding to my last allies post, the site owner had created another site to be used for our DUST 514 alliance and our corps. Basically, we have a couple of Public boards to be used by everyone in the alliance where all the corp specific boards will be private and can be designed as requested by CEOs. Right now, I have requested a few tweaks before taking the site live. As I act as mediator for the alliance, I will foot the bill (so to speak) where the site owner will create the private corp boards for free for alliance members. With our own alliance site, we should be free from trolls and useless posts where actual discussion can be fostered and utilized. Let me know if anyone is interested in this.

@ Allies - The site which I am using for the XMPLR corp forum and that I am also inviting all allied CEOs to join (private corp boards provided) is up. The site is http://www,eojmarket.com/Dust514/ Please check it out.
@ Everyone Else - There is still room for other corps to join the alliance if you're interested. |

@ Allies - I've updated the first post due to changes from TQ transition until now. Please review and respond if there is any incorrect or missing information.
@ Everyone Else - I enjoyed several matches in squad with a corp mate and a couple of allies last night where we won most our matches. It's good to have other players outside your corp you can depend on. If it was just my corp mate and myself, I doubt we would of done as well. That is the main purpose of this alliance; to strengthen our small corps against the growing bloated corporations. Contact me via DUST mail or via the XMPLR channel if you're a CEO interested in joining. If you're not a CEO, let your CEO know about joining our alliance. |

Our alliance is a group of smaller corporations bound together on a secure channel for squading, information sharing, and friendly corp battles. If you want more information, please see the first post, send me a DUST mail, or contact me via my corp's public channel: XMPLR. |

@ Allies - You can check out http://www.eojmarket.com/Dust514/ without having to sign in or sign up. As said previously, I hope to use this as a hub for our alliance where I will no longer have to send updates out via separate DUST mails or this post.
@ Everyone Else - Our alliance not only does friendly corp battles with each other but we have also banned together to fight corp battles against other corporations. If you're interested in joining or have any questions, send me a DUST mail or contact me via my corp's XMPLR channel. |

@ Allies - While recruiting, be sure to mention you're part of our alliance as we all know some players join corps just based off number of members. That way, new recruits know they will not fight alone even in a corp with few members.
@ Everyone Else - If you're a small corp CEO or do not have very many consistent active users in your corp, think about joining our alliance to have full squads of competent players. Alliance details are within the first post. If you're interested in joining, contact me via DUST mail or my corp's public channel: XMPLR. |

Quote:What's the difference between an Alliance and a Corp? And how do you create an Alliance? I have a small corp and if I can alliance myself with another to help us grow that would be great.
- A corp is a singular group of individuals managed by a CEO.
- An alliance is a group of corps which can be managed by several different means.
The way I have suggested is the allied CEOs all manage the alliance where I am merely a facilitator and (if needed) mediator. As there is currently no Alliance UI implemented in DUST yet, we manage ourselves on a secure channel. Those who have joined the alliance and are active within it have found the alliance quite beneficial and I and other allies plan on making this alliance official as soon as we have the UI available. Of course, we hope their is a downsized equivalent in DUST for making and joining an alliance rather than the 1B (create), 2M ISK (join) requirements that are in EVE. Growing a corp is still quite an ordeal even with the alliance. When I started the alliance several months ago, I had only 3 members. Within that time, several allied corps have come and gone. The alliance has helped my corp retain its members by having good, consistent allies to squad with. Due to my perseverance and my directors' and members' help with recruiting, my corp is now the size it is. Therefore, growing the corp is still up to you. Think of the alliance more as a manner of retention. Plus, we share information, play friendly corp battles against each other, and have teamed up in corp battles as well. Please review the first post as it has more details about the alliance which I have recently updated to include the most recent allied corps. If this sounds like something you'd want to be apart of, let me know. |

Updated first post to include most recent allied corp. The alliance corps are growing faster due to open beta and it's hard to keep up on the corp member numbers but I'll get them updated tonight. As always, if there is any errors with the first post, let me know. Also, check out http://www.eojmarket.com/Dust514/ as allies can schedule corp battles there with XMPLR or enlist XMPLR to aid them in corp battles. I hope to use the forum there as a hub for the alliance. I can also provide private corp boards where the allied CEO acts as moderator if requested. If you have any questions about becoming allied corp, send me a DUST mail or contact me via my corp's public channel: XMPLR.
@ Gundo - We can have a friendly battle tomorrow if I see you on. Rugman and his DSR and lordjanuz and his Norwegian Dust514 Corporation are almost always up for corp battles too. Just contact them if you see them on the channel. |

Dylan7711 - Currently in DUST, there is no way to form an alliance with the UI. EVE has UI to create alliances though and DUST is thought to eventually as well. As there is no alliance UI, our alliance is now ran through a secure channel. When the UI is available, we plan on utilizing it. If you have any more questions or are interested in joining, feel free to send me a DUST mail. |

@ Allies - First post has been updated to include latest allied corps. As we are nearing 150 alliance members, I wonder if we should give pause from recruiting further to properly manage and evaluate ourselves as an alliance for a period. Allied CEOs, please contact me and tell me if you agree or disagree. Please include your reasoning with your decision would be much appreciated.
@ Everyone Else - If you are interested in joining the alliance, go ahead and contact me. I will await the decision of the other allied CEOs before recruiting further. At the very least I will add you to the Pending list in the first post to be evaluated and added later once alliance recruiting had reopened. |

@ pegasis prime - I think your corp would be a benefit to the alliance as well as the alliance benefiting you. As for your corp's paid services, ISK transfer is limited to within each corp last I checked. I figured you are planning ahead by offering your corp's services outright now but wanted to make sure you know ISK transfer between corps is not currently available. I am pretty sure there is still room for you in the alliance as the majority of allied CEOs I have talked to appear to have the attitude of "the more, the merrier". I will see about giving you access to the channel when I get on this evening. |

WOW! A lot of interest lately.
@ pegasis prime - I like your resourcefulness here but that leaves a lot to faith, coordination, and cooperation between you and your customer. Out of curiosity, how many times have you provided services to other corps? Merely curious; you do not have to divulge if you do not want to.
@ Panther Alpha - You can contact me via DUST mail or my corp's public channel: XMPLR. Unfortunately, I am not currently in-game so you may have to go through DUST mail for now.
@ XANDER KAG - EVE players are allowed. In fact, MK2 Enterprise's CEO is in EVE (which is why I have the Director who is a DUST merc listed in first post). My only limitation really is the corp must be somewhat small as this alliance was made to foster new and smaller corps. I can make an exception for a corp big on the EVE side though. After all, all the corps in the alliance could benefit from consistent EVE support which will be needed in the future.

@ Andros - Thanks but no thanks. We have plenty of good players within the alliance and help each other out from time to time free of charge. Just one perk of being in an alliance.
@ Red Dot and XAINDOR - Your corps sound like they'd fit right in. Let me see about getting you in a little later as I am currently in play.
@ Everyone else - The alliance is quite big and may be joining a sizable EVE ally (discussing with other CEOs). Therefore, I will no longer be bumping this thread for recruiting purposes although I will keep the original post up to date. Those who are interest in joining, please contact me via DUST mail or XMPLR channel. |

Yes, we've done as little as 2 on 2 corp battles although 4 on 4 and above are the best for corp battles. Plus, within the alliance you can come to other agreeable terms such as vehicle usage and contract collateral. Just give an offer on the alliance channel and someone will likely respond. I know Rugman91 has been dying to corp battle. |
