Is it just me or has anyone else noticed that AU tz games are half dead and twitching these days? its AU primetime as i type this and theres like 2 ppl playing ambush and skirmish is lucky if it gets above 6v6.

I realise CCP can't whip out the tasers and force AU players back to the PS3, but something needs to be done like filling the AU servers with players from the EU or US ones or allowing us to queue over there without conscripting a foreign player to squad queue people.

While I play on Asian servers most of the time I am totally against being forced to play on AU servers.

Even with patches and fixes the lag whenever I find myself on an AU server is atrocious, even when it's only 4v4.

I'd rather play 1v0 matches on Asian servers than matches where I can't hit the broad side of a barn because lag has me bouncing 20m left as soon as I stop moving.

Who would want to play a 1v0 match? Seems dumb to me. How would game censorship affect lag? Don't come up with things that have nothing to do with this. I doubt that every single game on the AU server is laggy for you because of us. It's most likely something on your end causing it.
Also I've played plenty of games on NA and EU servers without lag.

Anyway our server populations are getting smaller and smaller. You'll be hard pressed to find a game without southern legion members in it which just goes to show how little people there are from here playing this game. I hope CCP does something to bring the players back though because playing the same people over and over gets old after a while.

Yes we certainly have hand in this, Southern legion is the product of a merger between the 3 largest AU tz corporations for the purpose of doing AU proud in the tourny, once the tourny is over one of the groups will split off again but SL will remain the dominate power in the AU tz till more players group up.

The alternative is to run SL squads against each other when that happens its a great game but to often the battlefinder gets strange and you see a game where it was 5 players against 4 SL then another squad gets put in and its 8 vs 5, they get redlined and no one really has fun.

Could you consider splitting yourself into 2 groups, or by other means spreading yourselves between the two sides.

It would be better for your practice (because people might actually play), and better for puggers.

Side question to Beld and DeathDealer54 - what internet you guys play on? NBN? DSL? Cable - if so who? 4g/3g - if so who? Just curious about your connection type and quality.

Again 3 months later still a problem and like a pair of balls constricted by a **** ring for too long the australian servers have turned black and blue, act now before the last pair of players drops off and dies.

Again, I'm with Beld on this topic. AU players need the option which server they can select for match making.

A CCP / Dev response would be appreciated.

Yarrr I'm starting to feel like a bigish fish in a small small pond, unless I'm up against southern legion I seem to own up games and even then I can beat some of them in 1v1's until they bring in tanks. I fear only one or two of them the rest I'm alost on par with hooray for free booting. I need more people to play against and get better so I can kill that snooty Beld Errmon in his stupid tank... *Shakes his fist at Beld*

Xubber, Beld, The Black Jackal, Metallibanga, Sensimilla, Death Dealer54, broady boy, Gunner Needed, checkmeister, unbless TRIAD, Warry, Acmeboy, and many others are pretty good in their chosen fields.

As a team I don't like playing against southern legion because it's just not fair since I'm usually stuck alone with how empty these servers are or just 1-2 other people. Alone and separately however the only ones I can't beat outright are Xubber and Sensimilla anyone else I'll engage in combat those two however I try to avoid unless I get first strike by blindsiding them or flanking around them as they shoot at someone else.

You probably don't see much of some of these guys, as they're mostly inactive until the release. DD and unbless mop the floor with me, and I think I can at the very least give you a challenge.

Now that you mention it I remember DD I played against him last build right before the end a small group of us which were considered the best around at the time all joined up in a little private chat thing haven't seen him this build though. He was hard to kill. I killed him a few times but at heavy cost like 3-4 other dead guys who chose to try and rush him, I didn't know he was in SL. I've seen most of the others though not lately since I've stopped playing as much with the loss of the game show servers. Since these days I go to get a game SL squad, come back a bit later SL squad few hours later SL squad I'm like -_- really now match me against someone else this isn't fair! Stupid low server pop *grumbles*

Join the chat channel Anzac-Asia and squad up with some of us, or other guys from this region. Also we almost never run more than one squad at a time, so it's CCP's fault your always against us not ours :P

Many of us go solo for this very reason, and yet the matchmaker -still- decides to stack us against others.

Well the AU market is so hostile against gamers.... I sorta not find it hard to believe the gamer population in AU is rather extremely low.

I doubt our gamer population is any different to other first world nations, but hostile is probably a good description for our market, publisher collusion and anti competitive practices run rife, we get charged a lot more for things when there is no reason for it to be so, for example the PSN store was charging us 10 bucks more for the merc pack compared to the US.

Steam used to be a great way to get deals on games, but i think the publishers have started to lock them into regional pricing deals.

We have added optional region selection for uprising so if you're in a lonely region you can choose to prefer to play in one of the others.

Empty games with a touch of lag or full games with ridiculous lag, can't wait

Its already been done... the games with horrible lag are when we are mixed into other regions, its not always fun but it beats 3v3s against the same people over and over.
