ok so I recently upgraided my sniping to level four and ran into a problem there is no level 4 sniper , not sure why I didn't notice this before , so I went and asked my corp members if there are any level four weapons and got a no ,one again not sure why I didn't notice before, so I'm making this to ask for a fix seams strange and realy all you are doing is working your way up to level 5 I'm not sure about the other classes of guns/missles/mini railguns/ but a good fix for the sniper is to switch the charge sniper to a level 4 gun it dishes out eaqual ,if not more, damage as the prototype sniper and the fact that you have to charge it is a good reason to put it as a level 4 insted a level 5.
any thoughts from my fellow dusters? |

So an intermediate weapon level between advanced and proto? Or make advanced the "4th level" weapon and then make a new class (read: level)? |

Originally, advanced weapons required level 4 in previous builds, but CCP later dropped the advanced prerequisite to level 3 instead because grinding from level 1 to level 4 proved to be too much especially when the skillbook as an 8x or 12x multiplier with the first level requiring 30,000-50,000 SP to start with.
Now it's basically...
level 1 - Standard
level 2
level 3 - Advanced
level 4
level 5 - Prototype
There are no inbetweens weapons, mods, suits, etc. for level 4 at this point. Of course, since we have only so little given to us in the market, we might one day see stuff finally requiring level 4. |

It used to be charge, standard, and tactical at lv 1
adv standard and tac at lv4
proto at lv 5
I don't remember for sure where the aur where, I think 1 lv lower then isk still. |
