But my thing with the ARs is this while yes there is kick there its not much and its poorly implement. The kick in this game cuases the gun to raise up from it orginal piont then come back down on the exact same piont, which is part of the issue it needs to be more all over not just straight up in the direction the kick pulls. And the other half is that AR fire so fast that they don't come back down until you stop firing which means there isn't any discernible kick.
Easy fix is to make it randomly jerk in any direction when firing. So I truth the AR don't need more kick they need better kick |

Like I keep saying, just make the basic AR less accurate in order to let the tactical and breach variants seem more worthwhile.
You shouldn't be able to snipe someone with an AR because it should get less accurate the longer the firing is held, just like SMGs, but no it doesn't do this. |

Recoil goes in a certain direction, up and back in most cases but not always. The recoil(up) and dispersion(random) should grow with firing and moving. Crouch and aim down sight should reduce it. There is to little on ar, all the bullets go right into target even unskilled(as in sp) with militia ar. |

My concern is that everything ccp nerfs becomes useless just about.
Also I think a lot of concern for AR OPness is that there are so many bad players. |

My point is there is a marginal amount of reciol its just so eaay to cntrol and compensate for it might as well not be there I suggesting it yes get more reciol but also get harder to predict than it currently is |

I think all the ARs need is some recoil and a little more kick and dispersion. We don't need anything close to BF3 recoil, but the current lack of it makes it hard to see how they're going to differentiate any of the other weapons from the ARs.
To clarify, I recently started running Scout + Tac Rifle occasionally. Holy ****. |

I've given up attempting to help balance stuff. There is just so much of the game that has no balance, if they ruin the "standard" gun, I think that'll be the nail in the coffin for me. |

Everybody said to make it lock on only ( E3 weapon balance was fine) It just needed the strafe speed. |

The weekly updates are totally lol worthy frankly. They seem to totally ignore all the serious issues with the game and insisting on fixing things that aren't broken. How about getting new stuff in game instead of breaking things that aren't that broken?.
When AR's get "fixed", just watch as the number of mass drivers, laser and all the other things that need work increase ten fold.
CCP seriously need to get a grip. At this rate no amount of balancing will make this game playable for a 2012 release. It'll fail horribly.
Just get all this stuff in game, ignore the whines and then start balancing. This current way of working is just burning out and putting off the beta testers in general, imagine what this line of thought is gonna do to a paying player base. |
