Ok guys. Devs, I'd really love an answer on this topic. In British pounds on my store it says that 100,000 aurum is -ú39.99. And 200,000 is -ú84.99. This appears to mean that it's cheaper for us to buy two lots of 100,000 instead. Surely this can't be right? It does say that there's a bonus of 25,000 on the purchase of 200,000 and a 10,000 bonus on the purchase of 100,000. So this would mean that yes your 5000 better off but it's still -ú4.99 more.
Is it just me? But this doesn't seem right. |

Could be a typo. Have you tried purchasing one or the other, without actually completing the purchase, to see if they're charging a different amount? |

Nope. Just checked that. Total amount to be added to WALLETT funds? -ú84.99.
On one other note. I am SURE that CCP said this game wasn't going to be pay to win. But with augmentations like skill bonuses for set periods, the purchasing of better weapons, how can they say that? They specifically said that Aurum will only be used to purchase cosmetic enhancements or stuff that could otherwise be gotten some other way in game. Or am I wrong? Please tell me if I am an ill gladly eat my words. |

Unless it changed, if u let it scroll across, for the $100 US, and 85 pounds, its 200k aurum, but then gives u either 20 or 25k aur on top of them, so essentially its 225k aurum |

The AUR inequalities for different regions was an issue a couple of builds ago too, if I'm not mistaken.. Guess they never fixed it.
Also I believe the planned update notes in the Feedback/Request section of the forums it says that they eventually want to not have any item in the game that can only be bought through AUR, so we will eventually be able to use ISK for all purchases. |

No they didn't say that, because they can't actually do that (contract obligations). You will be able to trade with other players for ISK. The original source of AUR items remain $ only. |

All Aurum items have an ISK equivalent . But the ISK versions require higher skills to use. think of AUR as a shortcut/timesaver or maybe just a way to try out something before deciding to invest SP to upgrade the corresponding skill. Keep in mind that vehicles along with their modules, cannot be purchased with AUR(except some militia BPO's). |

I said it kind of weird, it says they want to have an ISK equivalent for everything, since currently there are items that don't have an ISK equivalent at all, like the Thukker grenades

On the Danish store, 20000 AUR is 74.95 DKR, 40000 AUR is 199.00 DKR.
At least it was last week. And the Merc Pack is unavailable. |

pretty much hit your thumb and not the nail. the toxin is not as good as some advanced subs. and the AR's that are araum in the advanced category are strategically placed. the arum advanced AR is a load better then the rest. but its on par with proto gear. its all about them iskies err cash! |
