although it looks like and sounds like it's for 10 year olds. in case you're not believing me, the name of the game is happy wars. It seems like no one will like it though so dust could probly still say it was the first free to play on console(or it could atleast add adjectives such as good, AAA, fps, etc. before game). |

A free game came out on PS3 the other day. It got pretty good reviews... And DCUO is free to play. I don't think Dust can claim to be the first... |

HAPPY WARS IS A INDIE GAME, and it is about 10x better then this game. |

There are plenty of free games games on Ps3 already.
First one I can remember is Angle love online which was available only on Japanese Playstation store when Ps3 was still new and shiny. Free Realms has also been available for some time now and Playstation Vita has few mobile like free to play games.
Dust can claim to be the first real sandbox mmorpg on Ps3 as well as "second" mmofps game (that is if you consider M.A.G as MMOFPS) |

Hardly the first of free-to-play to come to the PlayStation3 home entertianment console line. Especially for Japan. Japan has had a large number of free-to-play titles for the past two or three years now. Most of which are MMORPG's. Not that we do not have some of our own.

And now we'll also have -- Dust514. I think there are few others you can throw into that mix if you really wanted to do so such as PlayStation Home, and every title under the PlayStation Home banner. Which would be something like what? Fifty or more titles of mini-games, and free-to-play freemiums. Needless to say they have a lot within' Home since it's launch (beta or otherwise). Lord does Home bother me though... Ugh. |

Mechwarrior is F2P and will be on PC and 360 just went open beta today. Wish it came to PS3. |

How Is any online XBox game free to play? Think about your paying for P2P games. Does xbox even have server client based games? Why pay to use that service? |

he's got a point. I dont own a Xbox so what im saying maybe wrong, but playing a game that is free and still paying for live means the f2p mmo is technically pay 2 play |
