I'd like to get going with some tanks but i'm clueless on what to put on them and what ones to buy. Can the tank gods shine there holy light down apon me and enlighten me of the force that is a tank? |

Soma with 180mm Reinforced Nanofiber, Heavy IG-L Armor Repair, Basic Powergrid Expansion, Jovian Fusion Powerplant, and the 20% Missile damage bonus in the lows. Highs are whatever you want, and weapons are the default blaster and a pair of Accelerated launchers if you want good range, or Cycled if you want up-close dps and anti-infantry. |

Your dumb a soma has 4 low slots plz if u don't use armor tanks don't post crap about them. But yea i recommend 180 mm armor plates and a heavy rep but if u can't then put 2 small reps and a damage mod. high slot a shield amplifier and damage control unit. give ur gunners missiles and u what u like. hope thus helpped :). |

Don't bother using other tanks types, they suck. Best one to use is a Madrugar with with 5 Nanofibers, that way you can outrun even the fastest of swarms. |

Then they'll hit u with 2 forges or 3 at the same time and then insta death. :p |

I just love how helpful some people can be...
DON'T USE ARMOUR TANKS. Not this build. They're poo, because CCP muffed up.
I'm going to assume you can do the Maths on shields, (is the extender getting me more HP than a resist module maths). A heavy booster & as much shield/res as you can fit.
Low slots can be anything. But I'd advise the stupidly OP 20% missile damage modules. Others take Nanofibre to be faster. Others take PG or CPU upgrades. Always 2 small missiles. Main weapon I'd suggest missiles too. My soma goes pop vs any properly fitted shield tank. |
