Hello,
I am one of a couple of people who have requested about the Tribute Mercenary pack offered during the end of September. I decided since there were a couple of people who have requested for it (me included) I was hoping we could have a general thread for those who requested for one more chance at getting the Tribute pack. Since I started a new character the one I posted under doesn't exist anymore, so I created this thread so I could bump it every so often and be worry free about the forum rules about bumping.

My personal suggestion is that all the promo items eventually make their way to the in game market for AUR.
That way the promo's are still a good deal for a limited time as a promo should be but those who happen to not get the word or miss out on them for some other reason can still partake of them later on. To me this seems quite equatable.
That being said I wouldn't mind if the promo on the Merc Pack were run again (and not because I need the gear, I already picked it up).

EDIT: If they did a Halloween/Samhain pack I would totally pick that up. I'm not much for the pure cosmetics but I would certainly purchase and use some nicely well appointed Halloween themed gear, what can I say I think that orange and black could actually look pretty good.  |

I bought two of them when they were available, and would like to say I would happy to see them on market for aur now. It has been long enough for the people that bought in window to have them exclusively.
The orange/black dropsuits sound cool, maybe purple/black too. Also a good Halloween colour scheme. The mag suits didn't come with a heavy, it would look good in pumpkin colour scheme.
If it's too close to Halloween(Oct. 31) to do it, save them for +ûskudagur in Febuary.
Letting us buy the ordnance pack from ps3 slim bundle for limited time would be easy and get people to buy more stuff. |

the Standard suit BPO partially breaks the game because it ruins the risk vs reward which brings many of us to this game. That should be fixed so it costs something for each use like all other suits. Other than that, I don't see why we shouldn't get more access to these. |

i agree and disagree, all the militia BPO are effective. as long as their isn't a level 5 BPO i don't see a reason for it. plus once the market opens you will be able to purchase the BPO's from someone else for isk. |

^This. I wouldn't want to see anything more advanced that Standard/Meta 1 gear in BPO but up to that point seems fine once the player market is opened. And once you start running with a squad consistently there's more and more desire to run high quality gear (at least I find that to be true) so all the current version really does is create a mildly better "fall back" point if you ever get isk tanked and have to run basics for awhile.

ps ~ besides there are already the Skinweave suits and the Dragonfly in addition to the promo suits so to retroactively remove them would likely cause quite a lot of hard feelings. And for a F2P game positive buzz most certainly has implications worth considering. |

Tribute Merc Pack should include some tribute weapons too!
* Valor MK46 LMG (AR with 100 round magazine, reflex sight)
* Raven AM50 Sniper (Sniper with AV multiplier, weak spots only!)
* SVer 74U SMG (SMG with near AR range, higher fitting)
* Sensor Jammer (equipment that reduces sig while held)
I think that covers the most iconic items in the game for each side as unique sidegrades. BPOs would be awesome, but 50-100 BPCs might be better business sense. |
