Under Construction
Squad Orders
- Attack: 1.2 Bonus to War Point gain within proximity of order.
- Defend: 1.2 Bonus to War Point gain within proximity of order.
- Capture: 1.2 Bonus to War Point gain within proximity of order.
- Rally
Values listed are gained by Squad Members preforming actions withing the radius of the order. The Squad Leader gains bonus War Points equal to the bonuses earned by the squad.
Standard Controller
Issuing Orders (As Squad Leader) Method 1
- R2: Opens weapon swap wheel
- R3 (while in weapon swap): Opens squad order selection wheel
- R1: To assign selected order to current target
Method 2
- Down Directional Pad: Opens Overview Map
- X on target under rectal: Opens order selection wheel, highlight desired order to assign.
Precision Strike
- Right Directional Pad: Opens a context menu
- Middle Menu option: Opens PS selection menu.
- X opens overview map to select target.
Keyboard & Mouse Middle mousebutton + Q brings up the Squadorder selectionwheel
Looking for: I'm looking for specific confirmation of the bonus gains, squad leader gains, and order radius, can anyone confirm these for me?
What are the controls to open the squad orders menus via keyboard, and MOVE controller?
Any additional information considered relevant to this subject.

Squad leader commission appears to be one sixth of WP earned by the squad member. Kill gets a squad leader ten points, assist gets 'em five. |

the Squad Leader gets 1/5 from the standard points from the actions the squad mebers tagged with a defend order (or performing any order) this means for assists : 5 Kills : 10 hack: 20 hack assist : 10 |

Killing a squad member that is doing something that a squad leader wants done is +60.
Realizing that, priceless. So is getting his squad mates.
Joking aside, it is cool but is it the same radius to squad leader issue as the WP on the other end? |

The range of effect for the orders is based on the location of the order placed without regard to the location of the Squad Leader. The Squad Leader can place an order anywhere on the map from anywhere on the map (TACNET is cool that way )
I hope that helps answer your question, and if I've missed something please let me know I'll be glad to cover it as best I'm able.

Would like to add:
- This may be obvious, but when attempting to issue squad orders this way, please remember to do so FROM COVER!
- When the map pops up, you are the target. Makes it very easy to put a defend order on yourself. This makes perfect sense if you are already defending or capturing (hacking) an objective. Also makes a lot of sense if you are the Logi on your squad. Your squad needs you to revive and rep!

As far as I'm aware the in game tutorials still do not present this information, as such I'm bumping this thread.
