Those fighters better be fast. Battlefield 3 jets aren't doing it for me.
I want epic dogfights dammit! And you can't have an epic dogfight without speed! |

There would be epic dog fights in battlefield 3 if the damn things weren't so hard to fly |

as someone who's played quite a few Ace Combat games, I agree with this guy. I admit it, I'm a vehicle lover. I really want to see jets or other aircraft during the next update. *Flight of the valkyries plays in background.* |

CCP has confirmed that fighter aircraft are coming. I'm also hoping we can get a gunship aircraft as well as a dedicated anti-tank platform, possibly allowing for people to stop bitching about tanks so we can actually buff them back up to hold their own again.
An important distinction that I hope is made is one between "jets" and VTOL gunships. The last thing I want to see is some kind of half-hearted combination of the two like we have to deal with in Planetside 2. We have different aircraft for those different roles in reality for a reason. |

I think dogfights would be awesome in DUST 514. I'd have to wonder what other function the "Jets" would serve other than being strictly Anti-Aircraft.
Also in the E3 Trailer for DUST 514 you can see two set type aircraft flying planetside at the end. |

Of course. Swarms would be useless against something that speed, anyway. I think its almost a certainty that we'd be seeing SAM turrets for HAVs or even MAVs when those are put out. |

I am looking forward to more vehicles also. With fighter craft. I hope they use current fighters from EVE instead of making all new ones. It would take away from the universe for me. If a EVE carrier can hold Dragonfly's then as a Dust Pilot I want to be able to use Dragonfly's. The EVE Market already has a lot of fighters and bombers, let us use them. :) Granted those are space fighters. |
