Are you Kitten kidding.. you honestly think for 1 second that QC did not send the email?? even though with your own two eyes you can see the email being sent in a .jpg.
You are not only a scrub, but a blind idiot. Why don't you take your sorry excuse for a kitten kitten and go back and suck up to your corp so more.. Free Beer if this happened to the Imprefects you would all be doing the same things QC is doing, you know this and so does everyone else. So do us all a favor, STFU and go play dust.
Puts hat back on..
Please have a pleasant rest of your day..
You do know that emails sent to support aren't deleted right. How do you think you look to the rest of the community by claiming ccp screwed you. Big self entitled babies is what. So, either QG didn't send it in on purpose or he didn't send it in by mistake. Best to man up about mistakes.
We never assumed we were in it. We worred about it like everyone else. We did send email in almost immediatly though and got in. Thankfully, zitro knows how to use email.
LOL Free Beers, if the size of the email was to large (20 MB) then it would have never reached CCP mail servers. As was the case with STB and other corps. That simple..
@Deadpool Got no beef with STB but gotta call you out on what you just posted. A text email is around 40 to 100 KILOBYTES. Way SMALLER than 1 megabyte. A .JPEG or picture comes in most times at 1MB.
You said "email was too large"?? WTF?? did QC get drunk and send video or a WTF?? a porno video??
NO WAY is a regular text email over 20 MB. Hell a NINE HUNDRED PAGE BOOK in .pdf runs under two megabytes!!
File: Jordan, Robert - Wheel of Time (Complete Works 13 books).pdf
16.17 MB in 1 file.
Thats THIRTEEN BOOKS. Thats THOUSANDS of pages of text! |

Yes actually it was large (thats what she said) the images were not properly changed to a better size and there were a few images in the email of the player lists. This did happen to two other corps, but they fixed it before it became an issue, but for QC who was working and did not see the reply of being bounced in his spam folder. It is what it is bud, sucks to be anyone that didn't make it in. But we wish everyone the best of luck and we will be watching.
PS I work emails that are .pdf and .jpg that are over 40, but those are clients case files backup onto images.
NO ONE sends an image when the only critical dataset is a simple text list of twenty five names. Thats 50 KILOBYTES tops.
NO ONE sends a SINGLE email and calls it a day. Its called makeing sure the folks on the receiving end actually got the message. And every email sent has the ability to ask for read receipts. |

Just so you know I work with JPEG Images that are 50 MB or more! Within JPEG you have various levels of compression! That generally defines the size of the picture! If you use bitmap, the files get even bigger! I wont even go into PSD and RAW!
A 4:000K resolution .JPEG can even go up to a GIGABYTE. BUT. ITS A SIMPLE TEXT EMAIL. Not a high definition picture sample.
TEXT emails are in KILOBYTES. 25 lines of TEXT runs to 50 KILOBYTES. |

The max a 4MB resolution picture would be is 1 MB depending on the aspect ratio. Im sure you knew this! But what do I know? I just make $3000 + a day every time I do this! I must be trolling!
HOLLYWOOD picture print is called: 4K resolution or above 2160P quality.
Such RAID arrays, both of "managed" (for example, SANs and NASs) and "unmanaged" (for example, JBoDs on a single computer workstation), are necessary due to the enormous throughput required for real-time (320 MB/s for 2K @ 24fps) or near-real-time playback in post-production, compared to throughput available from a single, yet fast, hard disk drive. Such requirements are often termed as "on-line" storage. Post-production not requiring real-time playback performances (typically for lettering, subtitling, versioning and other similar visual effects) can be migrated to slightly slower RAID stores.

Help me Jesus! Baby Jesus even! You do realize that what you are mentioning cinamatography over here right? It says xxx MB/s! That means xxx MB per second! Cinematography involves not only capturing image but also voice and other aspects that are wayyyyyy too technical for you! It is not something used to take a friggin screenshot! RAID = Redundant Array of Inexpensive Drives. It is used for storage and not in capturing images. This is me right now! You do realize that I am making you look very immature right now! And for the sake of my sanity I am not coming back to the forums until the first set of matches are done!
Mike: Your first mistake was trying to impress with your reporter credentials. Your second mistake was posting without using google to check your source info. Your third mistake was not bothering to check with fellow reporters about basic hard drive camcorder/ camera capabilities.
" It is used for storage and not in capturing images." LOL!!!

A SINGLE IMAGE from a movie trailer is called a still. Can you guess what its called? A PICTURE.
Data from a an audio/video stream is 90% video and at most 10% audio. The SIZE of either the VIDEO or AUDIO streams depends on DATA RESOLUTION.
I.e. a DVD quality video stream at 480p will be much smaller than the same video stream at a higher resolution such as 720p, 1080p or 2160p.
STILL IMAGES or PICTURES also are resolution dependent where a higher quality image will require more data such as a 2160p movie still.
A LOWER resolution image such as a simple NON high definition picture will be lower in data size. A simple text image where most of the image is a blank space results in a small data size since just the black text is captured.
And as far as a desktop screenshot?? Its data that is captured and is stored either on a hard drive or an SSD or SD card or USB drive. All these devices are just about the same where one has a spinning disc and the rest are solid state.
And the resolution size of the screen shot is based on data size. |
