People say the AR is overpowered. Holy **** I could sit here and get drunk all day and still drop 20-40 kills every game in a dropship. You people are straigh in denial if you think the dropships aren't OP. When they can be tossed out of the sky by one rocket out of a swarm and instagibbed with a standard forge gun? Not even close. The swarm speed has always been the only issue, as well as their tracking, and the hotfix boosted speed. Once both speed and tracking are better balanced, they can introduce flares/chaff for aerial vehicles to compensate, and we'll have a nice balance between those and infantry. Other than that, all vehicles need limited ammunition counts. |

I happen to believe that removing the starter AV suit will also be required for dropships to have a realistic presence on the field. People don't realize how fragile a dropship can be when it can actually be hit. The problem is that Missile weapons are one of the two weapon types in the EVE universe that require no capacitor. Vehicles need to have limited ammo counts based on role. |

Ever tried to fly a Dropship into an LZ only to have it flipped instantly by a Swarm or taken out in 2 hits by a Forge Gun, hell have half of you guys ever tried to fly a dropship fullstop?
Hell, make my guns weak, give me points for people spawning in my dropship and stop making me flip so god damn easily and I'll stop smashing you guys with my gunners, so I can actually play my part. ^This, but I'd still prefer just giving them a smaller ammo count for the turrets to make them better fit their role while still being able to defend themselves. |
