I use the playstation move for all my shooters. I would love to use it for this game but the cross hairs jump too much. This game needs a killzone 3 approach to MOVE controls. Color cross hairs and constant floating cross hairs. I've played with the mouse and the keyboard and the steadiness while shooting is unfair. THE MOVE NEEDS MORE SUPPORT HERE.
and 3D wouldn't hurt either. |

Move controls are best handled by the professionals. CCP needs to talk to and work with game developers who have had success in the PlayStation MOVE shooter field. I feel that the attention to a well balanced control scheme is critical to making this free to play shooter the staple in the MOVEs library. Tighter controls and allowing button reconfiguration should be in the final version. I need special aim assist while using the PlayStation MOVE. Not as a crutch but as an aid to new MOVE users. Seeing the shooting cross hairs is a must. And needs special on screen colors and notifications to allow MOVE players to feel at home. And at 'Home' is the control scheme from killzone 3. *FLAT OUT!* |

this along with the reload gesture scheme from killzone would be the winning combination. The reloading of Killzone 3 is my fav. CCP please talk to Gorilla games. |

It would be great if the Sharpshooter 'pump' worked as a reload here, as well as the other sharpshooter functions. Button remapping of most aspects should be considered a mandatory item for development.
Something for melee that isn't tied to gestures etc. (I think it's a gesture, I haven't been able to pull off a melee when I've tried them, but from memory melee was woefully inadequate anyway, so I don't worry too much about it). If it is the 'swipe it sideways to melee' that I think one diagram might have suggested, it's just a horrid idea. You'll be spinning in a circle and stuff before you know it!
Aim assist: I dont' like the idea of aim assist at all for move users. I never used them in any of my Move games, but I also think that move users shouldn't get hit with artificial scope wobble either etc. (we tend to put that in ourselves). Seeing the shooter cross hairs would also be better.. but not too obnoxious.
Additional deadzone config for ADS and scoped would be great too. |

I repeat, I would rather play using the PS Move but, I notice that the cross hairs are more steady and sure-footed when using either the mouse and keyboard or the dual shock. I pray for the day when this game has more of a killzone 3 approach to its PS Move interface. |

I hope all PS Move users are loud and proud about their choice of controller medium. The mouse is cool but the keyboard isn't my thing. The controller is cool but, the lack of accuracy(after using a PS Move or mouse) is unacceptable. The PS Move gives me the best of both worlds. I love everything about it. (except when I play late at night and the light of the Move brightens up the whole damn room.) |

lmao
But it's true. The move is unlikely to be any priority, and it is probably a lot of work. Sony is more likely to assist than gorilla games, but it still doesn't change the fact that other things take priority. Like making sure the game can release playable, with or without move.
I also enjoy the move. And the more you talk about it, the more likely it will bump up the priority chain. |

Tried to play with the playstation move just now and it is nothing short of frustrating. Whenever you start shooting the crosshair is all over the place! I tried both Mouse and keyboard and the dualshock and both are way more steady than the PS move. Not fair. I will also agree that the control scheme for the move peripheral attained by Guerrilla in Killzone 3 is nothing short of perfect. Look at their approach and "ahem" copy it. If you have "PS move supported" as one of the features, you better implement it right. |

The move controls have improved, atleast for the assault rifle. They still need less deadzone! The deadzone does not get small enough to effectively track a target and keep good peripheral vision. Also they still need two separate sensitvity settings and deadzone settings for normal and zoomed in views. Also a default cursor when you are running so you dont lose track of your aim. Please keep improving the move controls, as many people have said, it works for other shooters and it can work for dust. |

Ok, i must have not played the move controls on codex yet, or they recently added that horrible jerking your fire around. Why? If it doesnt happen with keyboard or mouse, why would you put it in for the move. Please take it out, it makes the move useless for ranged combat. Since your mobility is hampered by the move making close combat suck, why would you also take away its ability to perform in ranged combat too? It makes no sesnse.
EDIT: The devs arent trolling move users there is just one important thing every move user must know! TURN VIBRATION OFF!! that is what is causing the jerky firing. It would be nice if the devs removed the vibration during gunfire, but if they dont, just turn vibration off.
TURN OFF CONTROLLER VIBRATION IN THE ACCESSORY SETTINGS SECTION OF YOUR PS3 MENU. |

TURN OFF CONTROLLER VIBRATION IN THE ACCESSORY SETTINGS SECTION OF YOUR PS3 MENU. I have tried turning the vibration feature off on the move controller when I play and it still doesn't help. They need to address this quick. |

The move controlls definetly needs more attention if they are going to stay in the game, if not they can just as well be removed. |

Absolutely, but a bad implementation does mre harm than good. Im confident that they will sort it out, however it might not be soon. |

I'm an avid Move Controller user. I agree that more support for controller set up and implementation is needed across the board. My suggestion is that the move needs better calibration settings, such as a floating reticile and an option to recalibrate. and the ability to customize the deadzone and rotation and straffe speeds with full customization of buttons. |
