since when is advertisment good for anything, you should have to buy a piece of equipment to hear a large vehicle that should pop up on the radar. |

Hell no!!!
Yank off headset.
Turn on four subwoofer amplifiers.
Turn on DTS amplifier.
Crank them all up.
LOUD subwoofers plus LOUD DTS 7.1 system speakers over a headset anyday.
Watch plateglass flex and even simple sodapop bottles flex just from sound waves.

lol even if i had that i don't think my Slow as molasses Logistic suit could get out of the way fast enough. At this point i've just gotten good at observing where vehicles are in relation to me and traversing terrain according to where i need to go and where they are going...
maybe i should invest in profile dampners... |

LOL. I guess you don't use mics. One reason I prefer Headsets is that I don't bother people on mics, my neighbors, etc. But I have that in my car. |

Not Electric motors. When I work with'em they make a little noise staring up but they run pretty silent. normally the only noise they make is from the work they are doing; maybe they have BridgeStoneGäó tires  . |

If it's any consolation. . . at least you can see the headlights coming up from behind before you die.
ie. just running along the alien landscape minding my own business, tralaalaa, suddenly the rocks in front of me become very bright as if a light is shining on them.
"Hmmm, why are the rocks so bright? It's almost like there are vehicle headlights shining on them. . . uh oh. "

I have AV grenades/flux grenades on every fit and its so fun! when someone goes for the bumperkill and instead they die, jeep and all and even more perfect when the jeep has three enemy passengers.

If I am in a squad then the mic is in use but the volume is down around 15 or 10.(or 5 if the Wife is at the office).
If no mics then I crank it to 58 to 65 volume.
All that equipment is at the office since its not doable at home with neighbors nearby and all.
And vehicles and audio?
I used to do DB-Drag so I kinda am familiar with the concept of loud, LOUD and DB-Drag Extreme loud levels.
