Beers it's refreshing to see such a constructive, mature post about the tourny! Most of it's been tears and general complaints of "WHY WAS I NOT CHOSED IM BESTEST CORP EVAR!" especially from Tritan...

I wish you guys good luck but i really do think SI have the upperhand in terms of experience and skill sets because they have something a lot of corps don't have... However i do think you'll have the servers on your side so it's possible it will be quite an even match.

I don't even know half the corps on the list right now, and some just barely have 25 members, which means that most likely they won't be able to even fill up the roster. Yes, I am pissed off, and I'd like a reason why. "At the request of many applicants asking to move back match times on Friday, we have rescheduled the first set of matches to start on Saturday (27th of October) and second set will be on Sunday (28th of October)." The only corps that cared about the above statement aren't in the tournament. [

I included psn names and dust namesto prove they werent alts, and pictures of the corp menu showing we had more than 50 players at the time. I thought it was the first 16 to apply, not hand picked 16 by CCP. Its absolute garbage, and i hope half those corps that no one knows about dont even show up to do the battles. CCP has managed to do nothing with this except **** off thousands of players who now are not able to compete, and we are stuck doing meaningless corp battles.

Notice everyone that picked us to win the tournament has played us in a corp match. Not our words, but theirs. If you are on the same level as the zitros why has no one heard of you? I can set up a corp battle if you want. Say 60 million isk? Put up or shut up scrubalicous.

So that would stand to reason that alot of those corps in the tourney that nobody really recognizes must spend most of their time in game instead of on the forums.

It may be surprising the result of this tourney so personally I would say don't count anyone out yet, EVERYONE will be bringing their best group of players for most of the matches, there may be a few matches that some lower skilled players get into but each corp will be wanting at least the bragging rights from this. If nothing else it will tell other skilled players that the winning corp has some talent in it and so they might decide to join.

Absolutely correct. D3LTA AND STB have been shooting it up in the Beta since March, and some of these guys just started in the last build. Hell, I've never seen several of them. Of Course imperfects is going to win, because half these guys dont have nearly the amount of ISK or players with SP to compete with them like we do. 2 good players in your corp isn't going to cut it. If your corp wallet doesn't have 25 mil ISK minimum, you've got no chance to compete with them. If you don't have 10 players with at least 3-5 mil SP, you've got no chance against them. I'm not boosting them up, because the only thing we've done is handled our own in pub matches against some of the corps in the tourny (our #1 squad against theirs). I just know what resources they have and what it is going to take if you have any chance to beat them. I'm also not saying that we're the best or that we would win the tourny if we were in it, but I think we could at least offer a little competition. I know for a fact several of those corps dont have near the resources to even deserve to be on the same battlefield, and there are a handful that do have the resources but are sitting on the sidelines.

To make it fair, ccp said the first 16. And since noone gave a timestamp of when they sent their apps in, noone knows if they sent theirs in or not. Everyone wanted to play but there are only a few slots left. Its like picking the corp's rosters for each match...everyone will not be able to play. I've been reading posts insulting some clans that aren't as known as others that made the cut. Congratulate them and move on with it...noone expects anyone to beat Imperfects no matter who made it or not anyway. And second place is first loser so.... But shouts to the Imperfects but I wish one of the less well-known corps take the 1st prize.
