You're absolutely right. I had our corps application in less than an hour after it was posted. I included psn names and dust namesto prove they werent alts, and pictures of the corp menu showing we had more than 50 players at the time. I thought it was the first 16 to apply, not hand picked 16 by CCP. Its absolute garbage, and i hope half those corps that no one knows about dont even show up to do the battles. CCP has managed to do nothing with this except **** off thousands of players who now are not able to compete, and we are stuck doing meaningless corp battles. |

what do you guys mean about competitive corps getting "kicked?" Did I miss a thread somewhere, or you just saying that some of the more known corps didnt make it in? |

Hell the imperfects dont even need to play serious seeing the corps in their group. This is sad....

Absolutely correct. D3LTA AND STB have been shooting it up in the Beta since March, and some of these guys just started in the last build. Hell, I've never seen several of them. Of Course imperfects is going to win, because half these guys dont have nearly the amount of ISK or players with SP to compete with them like we do.
2 good players in your corp isn't going to cut it.
If your corp wallet doesn't have 25 mil ISK minimum, you've got no chance to compete with them.
If you don't have 10 players with at least 3-5 mil SP, you've got no chance against them.
I'm not boosting them up, because the only thing we've done is handled our own in pub matches against some of the corps in the tourny (our #1 squad against theirs). I just know what resources they have and what it is going to take if you have any chance to beat them. I'm also not saying that we're the best or that we would win the tourny if we were in it, but I think we could at least offer a little competition. I know for a fact several of those corps dont have near the resources to even deserve to be on the same battlefield, and there are a handful that do have the resources but are sitting on the sidelines. |
