I very much doubt that Quick messed this up, I assume we just did not make the list of corps as there is only 8 spots and it was probably first come first slot to fill sorta thing. Waiting on word from CCP. |

Total B.S.

Look I want everyone to post on forums, freedom of speech means a lot to me in my profession. But at the same time our image on these forums leads to us making alliances and corp contracts. So image is everything, when you stat something that goes against the corp, it shows the corp may have leadership issues and have internal problems. But as we all know thats not the truth, but this is New Eden, you can make a mountain out of an ant hill and have it blow up later down the road.

We are too guys, would have been some EPIC games with all of you. At this point I do think we are in the reserved corp, so if a corp drops out we might step in its place. (wishful thinking)
I wish all the other corps GG and best of luck. Not sure who to root for now though. |

A lot of people expected to see and faceoff against STB though; just as they expected to faceoff against most of us. Is it the end of the world? No, not by any means, but at the same time they could be missing out on vital information. You have to remember this is the first tounament. The information and intel provided inside the tournament as well as the experience could be worth a fortune on it's own. I can fully understand why they [STB] are upset over this, just as I understand why others are as well.
There is no need for hostility though folks.
Case closed, this will be an internal discussion from this point forward. We will clarify with our members the pros and cons of posting on the forums as it relates to future endeavors in New Eden. We at STB apologize for this thread and the other thread posted this week. As with many other corps, we can't control what our members do all the time, but we can do our best to make sure they don't happen in the future.
To the corps in the tournament, we all wish good and fair games. We hope the Tournament will bring in more players to Dust 514 and make this an even better game.
To all the corps that posted, we at STB thank you for understanding the situation we are in. We are obviously frustrated with not being in the tournament, but we will not be discouraged. There will be other tournaments and we will be there to participate in those. |
