As passive skill boosters are not being sold in the market, I'm wondering if any old build players have any? And if so, what is the increase in passive skill? Is it once every 2 secs or 3, etc?? |

are you refering to when you press X on your character you have the box pop up with "activate passive SP" while your not playing on 1 character you can have it skill up slowly or in the same instance if your not playing at all you can have your main passively skilling.
i dont think its intentional for ccp to make building your characters on all 3 slots 21yrs to grow. |

Passive boosters DO NOT improve your passive SP gain, they allow other, non main characters on your account to gain passive SP for a fixed time.
It's in the description on the item in EVE |

That does surprise me. I did look through the new infantry stuff on the market, but didn't look that deep before my internet died last Friday :-(
I understood the passive booster would be just that ... a boost to passive again, though I don't remember anything official regarding it. I wonder if that's a mix up in the description, or if they are going to allow multiple characters to gain passive sp. It's not a bad idea ... perhaps it could be optional ... fitting in the same slot one version could allow standard rate gain on a second character, the other type would just multiply base passive gain by x.
How would the second character version work though ? Presumably plugged in to that character, so you could plug one in to each of your alts and have the default passive gain on your main with an active booster aswell.
Sounds like a good way to attract AUR purchases. |

Exactly that, it's so can gain passive SP on more than a single character per account.
I'd like to see this in EVE too if im honest. |

Not sure it'd work too well in Eve as it's all passive, perhaps it could work with a training time multiplier for the second character, doubling completion times for example, I'm sure all the ideas have been banded about on the Eve forums though and CCP would obviously prefer people to run second accounts to train second characters simultaneously.
I've got a vague recollection of reading that there was once multiple character training of some sort, in the very early days of Eve, though I could be wrong. |

Ok, my fault...someone told me they had a passive skill booster. Maybe I misunderstood him or he was mistaken. Ok..thanks for the responses. |

You could just have this implant and allow an extra to train skills in EVE. |
