Hey,
I think I might have found the range that I am best at (ps... best doesnt mean im good).
I love the Tactical Rifle and was wondering if there are other weapons more suited to someone operating that this range?
Also... any tips would be welcome.

Just tried it out and it does look interesting.
I'm only level one and missed probably 3/4 kills where I left them with a very small amount of Armour left, so, like you said, level 3/4 would probably have worked out nicely.
Seems to be very effective against heavies, at least far more so than anything else I am using, which is mainly militia kit (yes, I am that bad that I can not afford much else).

The trick is to find the laser rifles sweet spot. There is about a 10-15 wide range where it is most effective. Try not to let enemies get to close and remember- once you fire it everyone knows where you are.
It's pretty effective against shields but if you can keep it on target it will cut through anything. It does more damage the longer it fires so bursts aren't recommended.
You will miss a lot of kills with the laser rifle, because that's just the type of weapon it is. Its perfect for running with a squad though because they can finish enemies off. It's perfect as a sort of point defence weapon. If you find an elevated place it is easy to defend it. It's a good weapon on the 3 point rocky map with only a few buildings near B. |

i do get quite a good amount of kills cause every fool on this game uses AR's so they can easy be outgunned by a laser on mid-long range. Silly duvolle idiots i can beat you with a tier 1 laser rifle. Oh by the way if you ever get lvl 3 then you can use the advanced laser which never overheats. Means you can fire the full 100 round "battery" non stop. Sure its more effective against shields but that doesnt matter it pretty much melts down armor aswell. And heavys are perfect slow moving targets. And if you got a squad up and damage some 1 really badly they can finish him off easy. Another situation where its superrior is when both sides are stuck in cover and shot each other. I advise to carry a SMG as secondary if some 1 gets to close to you. Oh and its also a very good weapon if you want to defend a position and are aible to keep the enemy at distance. |
