Either way, it's pretty sad. PS3 DUST players need a way to generate ISK on par with EVE players.Pre exsisting Eve corps having standing armies is fine. Buy your troops A.K.A. puppets. But QQing in the forums about weapon nerfs or objecting to the power of AUR DUST items that PS3 DUST stand alone corp can buy to combat yours because you have the monetary means to BUY players loyalty and essentially limitless gear is total bullshit. Why because its opposition to your status quo. You(EVE PLAYER) need us PS3 player to secure planet side assets. The logical conclusion would be to BUY them on a more permanent basis and any singular person objecting to or questioning why they cant be in a more leadership role would be cast aside and made example of .The direction of the CORP as a whole would be decided by the pre exsisting power structure of the former EVE only corp for which you already have a hierarchy. So this PS3 player is always just a pawn...to be moved about the board at your whim.................................... a puppet. IF the weekend FPS PS3 player is fine with that so be it.I know whats been said in interviews and I have yet to see one of you try to educate the masses that this will be possible. An DUST corp controlling its own agenda.I know what EVE is about as do you.Im just letting them the PS3 player know that this game is way deeper than they think.....and you being scared are trying to paint me as a troll...lol You being a forum warrior and EVE player are trying to steer public opinion in a direction that benefits you. You do realize that we all like this game and like the idea of making our own way in it the same as you do, right? I have no more interest in the "puppet" idea than you do. |

As far as we know those cannons will only be able to attack an EVE player in orbit over the district the cannon is in. |

Orbital cannons will only be able to fire on ships in there orbit......only certain ships can bombard the surface. Not Super caps. They also must be fitted with a certain module to do so,and have to be in orbit.Making them a target for the "Sky fire"battery on the ground. You wont be able to shoot across the system.Im pretty sure.I would have to dig that link up.I dont know this because Im an EVE player.I just get my hands on every video and interview I can that has CCP officials/devs stating facts about this game. The module was removed. Now you only need a certain type of ammo to do a strike. |

Also, they aren't going to punish anyone for finding this loophole, because they confirmed last night that this is part of why they put us back together in the first place. At worst, we'll get an ISK reset to what it was the day before this all happened, and I have no issue with that. Stop being angry that you "missed the party" or something. Your point being? My Dust character isn't even going to be a member of the Corporation my EVE characters are in. |

Your a planet viking with no space fleet to back you up. sure you gained a few billion isk contracts here and there but you still can't fund a full scale war.
Full scale wars take upwards to 500b isk and thats pretty much for the start. Don't kid yourself you need us the eve player. On the same hand we'll need you for a lot of situations. But if your unwilling to even work with a fleet then you won't make it far out of high sec.
Well said. Both of these games can work without the other, but you'll only achieve true power through cooperation. |

Wait, what does that have to do with the Orbital Bombardment Computer being replaced with OB specific ammunition? |

Wow... I hope Betamax gets contracted to take a few districts from your Corp post-launch, because I'll enjoy showing you the difference between being or using puppets, and working together. |

Are you a troll bot? I mean seriously, your arguments make no sense. -Someone tries to say something in favor of what you're saying then you tell them not to backtrack. -Someone gives you advice and you tell them to go command their puppets. -Someone says they can't wait to take away your outposts and you refer to an example about killing the game. You're either a very sophisticated troll bot or a very dumb person that doesn't know how to take a compliment(support of your argument). Really gives you pause. I can't figure him out, myself. |

Any EVE player please tell this guy how many members in a corp is required to even compete in null sec...I only mention this because your endgame sounds like nullsec to me and I highly doubt a small DUST corp will have any chance of holding a spot in null. You might take an outpost or 2, but the next day they will be gone.
Go ahead and spit in the face of anyone that wants to try to help you with advice, see how long you last.
Oh and just so you know I too support Dust being able to influence EVE in the future the way they will DEFINETELY influence Dust for at least the first several months.
An arms race between you and other EVE alliances where by you guys try to gobble up as many recruits as fast as possible to start yourselves off in a better position at game release . By throwing ISK at them.By using an exploit. Thanks for clarifying that for us. ROFLMFAO. Yup, you're welcome. That's exactly what I said in my post...troll bot > ReG trolls This guy could give Glenn Beck a run for his money. |
