I'm sure I'm not the only one that has noticed but some of the newer maps seem to have lag issues. I've had the pleasure of having quite a few bad experiences with them, but today I suffered from a 4 minute delay time. I was able to test this because I had another PS3 in the same match who was also lagging but not quite as bad. We had other friends in the match as well in different homes and some in different countries, they were all also lagging, some not that bad and some just absoloutely unmovable and unable to open menus. I tested my ping and interned dl speed during this sever lag and was still pulling well over 30mb so the issue must be server side. Its only been since the reset that we've had these issues and its usually only on the newer maps. I've seen other people post and post about it and nothing is done. People are just dismissed and its swept under the rug. Gameplay is very unenjoyable if you can't even move. I did my best to eliminate the posibility of it being client side, seeing as multiple homes in multiple countries were suffering. CCP you need to look into this. You NEED to listen to the testers, its crucial. I'm not going to quit a beta over some bad experiences because a beta is meant to find issues, but if the issues that are found are not addressed, then there is a problem. |

What Luimin said was right i too experienced this problem at the same time he did so CCP Dust Devs you have to address this problem NOW!. |

I was also experiencing Lag issues, not as bad as a 4 minute delay, but i was getting 30-45 sec lag spikes and serious rubberbanding. It seems to be on the larger 4-5 objective skermish maps, but it seems to happen on some of the larger ambush maps as well. These issues need to be addressed, not just for the sake of the testers, but for the sake of the final product. like Lumin said. this is what a beta is, its about finding and fixing the bugs and issues, both in software and in hardware, if your hardware cant keep up, then its time for an upgrade. if theres holes in the software, then we need to find and fix them. Its a team effort, and i for one am greatly pleased that i am one of the team of testers. but we're only as good as our fellow team members, so if we report issues, and nothing is done about it. then we will fail. and i really don't want to see dust fail. the ball is in your court CCP. your move. |

Yah must say the lag is the worst I have ever experienced short of my system freezing.
Let me say two things if anyone cares. First the positive. Whatever programing they are using did keep my PS3 from locking up. So that makes me happy :) In previous versions I have frozen up with a fraction of the lag I experienced today.
Now the other side of it. I was in my squad mates tank and was actually lagging and freeze framing so bad that I could only continue to hit fire on the launcher. Figured maybe some blind firing could help. Seeing as that's all I did I went to get myself another beer while just hitting a trigger, and during this time I couldn't hear my buddy. Finally the game I guess ended, I dunno, I never saw or heard the MCC blow up, and when I said that game sucked, my squad mate started laughing and told me it had been a couple minutes sense the game ended.
Not really mad about it, but it is annoying. Also I must point out that the maps look crisper and a little more detailed.

just chime is aswell, i have had no lag to speak of until today.
whatever changed has made those larger 4-5 node maps almost unplayable after a few mins it seems to get worse as time goes on.
up until this point i just thought hah well i don't have lag issues and it makes everyone easier to kill, now im sad |

for frick sakes guys! this is generaly how it works.
if they realease a fix for the lag now, it's fixed, then they release a new weapon, they nerf something, new map, what ever that could create lag, then you guys get even angrier at CCP because the lag came back.
now if you have patience it will be fixed, badgering them will not change anything. what do you think they do all day? just sit back and laugh saying "we know there's lag, but we aint' doing nothing about it" no! it's a f2p game, money goes into the game not allot comes out, if they've gone this far into the game they are not going to get lazy and just ruin the game.
have faith that it will be fixed and for the love of pete STOP COMPLAINING IT'S RUINING THE FORUMS!!!

I think youre mistaken, this isnt meant as a complaint. Its meant to bring attention to an issue that has been brought up and not addressed. The only person complaining is you. Maybe youre unclear about how a beta works. Youre not supposed to play and keep your mouth shut. They WANT you to tell them whats wrong and broken so they can fix it. And when something new is broken, tell them again so they can fix it. Its people like you telling the masses that are trying to assist CCP in finding the issues, thats ruining the forums. So please take your rage vent somewhere else. |

Totaly agree with the guy on top.
I have this first time lag since the last 3weeks I bean playing. At night's when is the only time for me to enyoid
Some videogames like Dust, and this is coming from a vet from EVE, I couln't log in any battle, just got kick out to the menu.
Is this continue, I dont have time to waste in a lobby doing nothing.
