Why do you keep all the trial account characters alive even when the account is deactivated for years? I wanted to create another merc with my old EVE name but the character is still there.
Cant you delete the characters of trial accounts that are inactive for 2 months or so. I dont mean to delete everyone who is inactive to make sure, just those who stopped playing after the 14 or 21 day trial. |

The only way to get that character name back for Dust is to pay and activate a subscription on Eve with your trial account and then delete it manually. I don't see CCP clearing out the unused characters anytime soon, unfortunately. |

submit a ticket they may delete it for you if you ask that way you dont have to spend the 15 bucks. no promises though |

This may have something to do with the in-game market and CCP needing to maintain consistent accountability of all transactions as well as logs. Who knows? |

i currently have a petition to get drunken legend back i started my free trial before they linked the servers came back and my guys name was Drunken Legend(random numbers) lol so i deleted him just heard back from ccp said would let me know in a few days but go on the eve website and go to the support tab gotta remember your old account info though gotta log in to submit a petition lets hope for the best ill let ya'll know if its a no go |

you could try the "hours for plex" thing through account management.
the idea is that it lets you get into your account without paying for a few hours to use a plex in game, and if you don't use a plex you lose the privilege in the future. but if you're just gonna delete the character anyway, who cares right? |

push up for review by another GM , before they ever started the 4 hours plex reactivate option thing I used to get inactive and request activations. Sometimes I would get a we can;t do that, and other times I would get a sure no problem and get even more then the 4hrs they give you now. Not every GM thinks the same. The one you communicated with may not deal with them matters and was unsure of it or was to busy with more important stuff at the time. |

That feature isnt given for trial accounts. |
