It kills me that these people think that their only option is to get a full headset where some of them can get up in excess to $300+.
I bought a Turtle Beach P11 headset that was on sale for 40 bucks, that are usually $60,but I just don't understand how it seems that people forget that PS3 supports Blutooth earpieces. You can get one of those for $20.If you are than cheap to where you can't afford $20 for any game that supports team chat, then you just don't deserve to play, imo.
Skype isn't a fail safe either.Depending on where you live, and how good your coverage is,there's a good chance that it can cut off on you too.
I have friends that play BF3 together, and they are literally spread out all over the world. They were having issues with lag and determined that if they cut their comms and used Skype, then it would work better, and apparently it did.So unless Skype is an absolute last resort,I would say quit being a cheap bastard and get a headset.
BTW,how is it that a person that can afford a smartphone somehow can't come up with another $20-$30 for a Blutooth headset? |

O you mean how did I afford my old outdated Nokia E71? yeah my uncle gave to me since he didn't use it anymore! u know not every smartphone is a samsung blackberry or iphone No,not just how did you afford your smartphone, but how do you afford the bill of a smartphone too.
Unless you have one of those prepaid deals, data packages from the major cell phone providers are starting at $30 across the board. Now take that plus your regular cell phone package, and you are going to be paying over $75 per month. |
