I cannot express how awesome this game would be with a bit more time put into movement and how we interact with the enviorment. this games suffered from a recent slow down in gameplay and I hope CCP is considering a small boost in pace. But what wpuld really help this game is an improvment in other key areas, such as a a more flexible character, a more realisitc movement, and more option on positioning woupd go along way along with more fluid combat this game could be great.
The first thing is make it so our guy ducks when he comes to a low object, not crouch just duck amd ifs hes alredy crouched let tem duck some more. Let the character slid between box I guess thin him up when he trys to get though narrow spaces, when he comes to a hill that he cant walk up let him climb up it(let this eat up stamina the steeper the more it req.) Amd last when I run into a kneww high or hip high let my character either hop up onto it or vualt over it of I got the speed.
Allow are characters to roll, im not talking some insane amount a meter maybe more at most, make it require stamina to start up a short animation to begin and end it and let it be interupted by being shot(less change for interuption if you roll with the bullets) I think that be reasonable balanced. Next is allow sliding and give ot the same, make it require stamina and give it a short end animation, make it so you end ina crouch and are unable to slide agian, as well as requiring players to be sprinting for 3 sec before you can slide.
make it so doing things like getting in and out of vehicles is a animation in which your vunerable to enemy fire, make it so ladders only require you to be near them not standing, and last clean up some stuff like standing perfectly balanced on two inch rails, running along these two inch rails, would improve the game
A light cover system like JUST the lean over and around mechanics might work(think crysis 2)
A list if you care about any of this make a specific thread so the devs would see it and not my lazy list Rolling and sliding Climbing and vaulting Flexible characters slope climb Stamina eating strafe Not allowing balancing acts on railing Lean mechanic

Agree its a improvement over what we had but it still feels crude, i think the dead zones have alot to do with this, pace could be increased a wee bit not to the extent of last few builds that was a tad over the top, movement acceleration i dont know if its already there its hard to notice it if it is would need to be increased with a movement increase. |
