Because most of YOU complained about AUR bought items in Dust and cried for nerfs. Why cuz you were already planning on doing this..........flooding your alt with the best ISK gear so you dont have to pay duel subscription.Pown everyone on console. Why would you want to have a console player be able to go to the market and instantly buy himself AUR and in that very same match Call in his Sigarus and work your ISK tank .You do a simple transfer of 30 million and buy 50 more. What happened to the CASCADE or the STORM SIDE RODEN .You guys wanted it gone because it wasnt and ISK gun.Because you planeed on doing this all along. You think your so ingenious.......When they announced this game 3 years ago I almost created an EVE account that day for this very purpose. You just dont want DUST players to control there own game. That chaps your ass. Holy **** guys, the tinfoil hat is STRONG with this one. As crazy as that rant sounds, there are a few valid points to be drawn from it. Quite a few of the EVE players act as if they should be able to dictate the rules and gameplay of Dust, constantly whining about how different the progression system works and such and complaining about anything that prevents them from taking everything they are sitting on in EVE and dropping it into Dust. That would be disastrous to anyone without an EVE account, which will likely be over 80% of the people who play this game. And if that happens, most of them will leave and then Dust will just be a game for EVE players who also happen to have a PS3. |

A. They've trained the skills to use a better asset B. They have the "skill" to actually use it properly If those two factors are absent, all you have to worry about is having enough ammo to harvest them all for SP and ISK, because that's the only use they'll serve.
Your right Skill books bought with the millions of ISK you did not earn "in Matches".That are now unlocked. That you still have to gain enough SP to train by killing people, which you can't do if you're incompetent. SP is still the other half of the equation that the rest of us will have to deal with. And there are more ways to get SP than killing. Buy a dropship and fly it around. You and everyone on board gets a 35 WP bonus for each kill. They shoot one down, hey look I still have millions of ISK to buy a nice stock of them! Not to mention front line fighters aren't the only ones who would do it, logistics players get most of their SP from hives, droplinks, revives and hacking. Now, do you really think that makes no difference? |

Mobius Wyvern wrote:You can still only buy militia vehicles without training the skills for them, and someone with the skills to use non-militia gear will take you down every time. Having seemingly limitless assets won't change anything when you're losing them so rapidly that EVE becomes your only means of funding because no one in their right mind will want you in their Corp. So you bankrupt your EVE character to spam ****** gear on your Dust character? Like I said before, anyone stupid enough to fit that description is just more income for you.
Yes, you can only use militia vehicles. But if you have the money, then only getting one or 2 kills per launch isn't that big an issue. You could kamakaze it into a populated area and bail out, then just call in a new one.
Also, your point still ignores the ability to skill up playing as a logistics character. I play as logistics, and only usually get one or two kills a game because I keep myself busy repairing and reviving, setting up droplinks and nanohives, sometimes using installations for a few extra kills, and I end up in the top 3 most matchs, almost always in the top 5. SP isn't THAT hard to get if you know how to get it. If I had all the ISK I needed, I could easily soar through a large part of this game with almost no issues since I'm always defended by my squad since they rely on me for repairs and revives. |
