Regardless what others might say, there needs to be some balance among vehicle and infantry. Right now it takes about a squad and a half sometimes two squads to take out a well fitted tank and takes about three almost four people to take out a well fitted dropship. I understand CCP wants to make this game vehicle based along with infantry based but that is a little much and it's going to drive away players. I also understand that players don't wanna have the vehicles messed with because "Oh I spend this much ISK on it so it should be powerful." Yes it should, but not to the point were someone brings in one or two tanks and instantly it decides the winner of the game.

LOL tanks are already glass tbqh
dropships are a problem because swarms trackin are ******** vs derpships and OP vs tanks
considering STB dropped a never ending stream of tanks on us in the corp match (ISK transfers ftw) we still blew up 7 in 1 match in an 8v8 and still managed to perform well and i can tell u it doesnt take a squad and a half to drop tanks
at some point ppl will have to realise as well (stupid ISK transfers aside) that just like BF if a team is utilizing all aspects of gameplay u are gonna be in a better shape to win vs someone who doesnt.

Try a well fitted tank. Took 2 squads to bring down 1 tank that was well fitted. Was me and 2 other forge gun user and 4 other players in a squad was hitting it with swarms. Personally I think CCP should take notes from Battlefield 2 and 3 and put weak spots on the vehicles. Not just tanks, all vehicles should have weak points.

and who said those tanks werent well fit? like i said as well at some point ppl have to realise u have to field ur own vehicles as well if ppl droppin a **** ton.
and tanks have weak spots already since last build from what i know.
and tbqh just like the last build before the AV buff/Tank nerf ill say it again not all tanks are strong....As an armor tanker i can tell u once again we got 0 love from lolCCP.
Shield tanks were the ones ppl moaned about since before the tank nerf because those were the tanks ppl were wtfpwnin with not armor tanks....those whenever u saw ppl bring them out went down easy.
Again ppl are using shield tanks and not armor.....shield hardeners were added but again no love for armor....no armor hardeners?
personally armor tanks need a bit of a buff or CCP will specifically have to look into shield tanks ALONE and balance them with armor. The one thing armor had goin for it which was remote reps got nerfed to ****. |

I'm a dropship pilot, but haven't been able to play much this build so I'm still flying a Viper. Last time I brought one in it took a forge gun hit and was instantly went from full shields/full armor to dead. Some people with Myrons have claimed they can get to the point where it takes three hits to kill them, although they were probably talking about Assault rather than Breach forges. Breach (at 2k damage before skills and mods) being the one that one-shotted my dropship. |

Swarms vs LAVs are even worse- if it isn't heavily modified to be fast, swarms can take out an LAV moving at top speed in 1-3 shots (depending on fittings) |
