So the Imperfects and Global Conflict (Protoman and the Zitro's  ) have joined forces for the Testers Tournament. This seems like cheating to me. They are going to split once the TT ends and they didnGÇÖt do this before the TT was announced.
Should they be allowed to do this?

IMHO yes it should be allowed although I'm a little disappointed in GC. Imperfects aren't on GC's level. |

i'm not saying yes or no, but it does somewhat simulate a corp alliance. i assume things like this will happen fairly often when the game goes live. but like i said, i'm here to play not ass judgement. |

If its not against the rules to grab whoever you can or have players ring for you, then it isn't cheating. I know we all would like to see real corp vs corp tourney but hey, it is what it is. |

Not cheating, just being slightly lame. They will eventually realize that this isnt a game about individuals or small groups this will be about the whole. It will take a team to influence EVE. |

I only bring it up because a rule was formed in the Alliance X tournament because this very thing was unfair
just switch the word Alliance to the Corp and this is the same |

Well, we merged SOA, Starcore academy, Sp3cial Assault T3am into one corp for the Tournament, but we plan on sticking together after it ends as well.. |

Some people just want easy wins and thats it. That is fine. For me, and many others on my team, we have spent time putting our team together and have worked hard to get where we are. Winning with our guys is more rewarding for us and I guess you could say its a matter of pride.
Just two different styles I guess. |

Just so things are clear for you all:
The GC / Imperfects merge was in the works for some time, zitro has been dealing with them for a while now because we've been after regnums gold lav for a while now.
zitro was in the process of accepting them into imperfects before the tournament was announced, infact the only reason why it wasn't done sooner was because zitro crashed out everytime he tried to accept them into the corp. Again, before the tournament was announced.
It just became more imperitive we got them in quicker because we were worried they might not qualify for the tournament if they weren't in the screen shot for applying, but hat's all sorted now.

Yes they are.
In my dictionary,next to (:merge;) is cheating,or to lag switch while using modded controllers with players you plan on using as teammates

They way I figure, if they did it before they applied, it's fine, if they did it after, and they go into a tourney battle, it may lead to a few ah, discrepancies. |

Well I dont know the exact details on theese two coprs, but the Tourney entry states:
"Once a corporation has 25 or more members (CEO included), the CEO must email CCP Game Masters .... etc"
Maybe theese two corps did not have 25 players each but together they do. So they joined forced to be able to apply.. |

Not that I know the inner workings of the "Betamax Leet", but when we have faced the Imperfects previously in Corp Battle some Global Conflict players were also present in the match, which gives credibility to Awesome's claim. It should probably have been dealt with earlier as it raised questions on the matter, but understandable due to all the issues that have been going on for members changing and disbanding Corps at the moment. |

I fail to see how it's cheating or anything. The rules clearly state:
Only players who are 1) in the corporation when the sign-ups end and 2) have participated in at least one match in the tournament are eligible for the prizes.
And
Sign-ups end on the 25th of October at 12:00 UTC.
Edit: And I don't really see anything wrong with using members that have joined after October 25th either. They just won't get the prizes. |
