I have a turtle beach earforce PX3. but its starting to fall apart after only a year. Any recommendations on a new headset i can get with the same sound quality as a turtle beach.
Ps. I heard logtechs are good. Is this true?
PPs. When the game goes public, will we get hard wiped? *keep name but lose race, stats, and money* because I'm amarr but I love minmatar stuff. (funny how the minmatar hate the amarr and vice versa, but i like them) |

There will be some more wipes before the game goes public, yes. Next one will probably be in a few weeks. |

I usually run heavy. So I would love a minmatar heavy suit. Thanks for the link, And any word on whats in the next wipe?
I am also looking for a headset. mike and sound are needed. |

Turtle Beach P11's have been pretty good for me so far,and they are an excellent bargain. |

Official Sony PS3 headset has been working well for me (despite the comments elsewhere in the forums) - surround sound has saved me several times. My backup when I forget to charge the battery is a Turtle Beach PX21 - stereo expander on. |

I second this. Pretty good sound quality, surround sound work well, good battery life and you can recharge while wearing them. My favorite features are the quick-mute for the mic and the independent volume sliders for game sound and voice chat sound. |

Thirds. This headset has a good mic quality and good surround. Overall good unless you care about how it looks aesthetically, which is a matter of opinion |

Like I said,I haven't had a problem with them,and for 40 bucks,you really can't beat them.
Sure,you could go out and spend &100+ on some Tritton's or something like that,but I've heard that people have had issues with those as well.
If you treat your stuff with care,there's no reason that it shouldn't last. |

Turtle Beach PX21 is very comfortable and has good quality sound. No problems with getting it to work.
(haven't had to worry about customer support so can't comment on that) |

Sony is coming out with a new headset called the Pulse. Sony said it's coming out soon and it's going to cost $150.00. Other than that, i'm using the Sony's wireless stereo headset which is awesome in my opinion. |

The Turtle beach PX21 are a good all around headset, can be used with any console and PC. Those are real good for the price. If you wanna spend around 100$ you can get the DPX21 which is the px21 hs packed with the tb dss surround mixer, which has the advantage of being able to use the optical output on the back of the ps3 for better quality.
Like others have said, the Sony Pulse wireless set is out, but runs about 135$ on newegg. SteelSeries Makes a version of the Siberia V2 headset for the PS3, they are generally a very good brand. I haven't tried the TteSports Console One headset yet, but thermaltake usually makes a quality product as well.
If you want surround though the cheapest you're gonna find is probably the dpx21's. |
