What happens when we're on Tranquility and your asleep and we're not?. I'll not be waiting for you to wake up before we stomp you.
I'm pretty sure that time zones will be abused by both attackers and defenders in the coming months once game goes live. The whole deal with it being one shard allows this kinda abuse. Everyone can't be on all at the same time.
Like Tony suggests, if it matters to you then change your schedule or don't bother. It's only going to become more of an issue later on. Of course that's all fair game and things will be abused but this is a controlled event, it should be set up so it best suits the convenience of everyone. |

Back on topic.
I can see why you find the times un-fair, but as has been mentioned, everyone was happy to sign up for those times and now people want them changing?. They're not ideal for me either, but luckily I have very few commitments at the minute.
When we have world cups and things like that, we don't just have it at the time everyone is used to being up, we have it at local time to that area and the world adapts and watches it whenever they can. The teams adapt.
The same can be said here imo, it's a euro tourny as that's where CCP is based pretty much. It's unfortunate, but those are the rules. Well what happens, happens. Personally I am free the next couple of Fridays assuming I'm not called in to do some work.
Wish ya GGs SI, still want to have a friendly corp battle though. |

I don't think it is going to be easy for either side if we get to meet in the tournament.
Good luck to everyone that gets to make it in the tournament. Lots and lots of clones and isk are going to get burnt in it.
I hope the EU servers have that right amount of lag from the last build's US servers that I loved
Ideally I hope we get into a match that has multiple rounds and alternating servers. |

steadyhand amarr wrote:from the quick test we did today, EU and US lag is pretty much in the same place now, i can play happily on US servers, and US players who were squady with me today, seemed to do pretty ok job on EU servers :) so hopefully their server location won't be too much of a deciding factor Why does that disappoint me a little.
I miss actually having to lead people with the sniper. |
