I think we should take a poll of the corps getting involved with this. I haven't met one person who likes the Friday times. Why not just lengthen the Saturday/Sunday sessions and cut Friday all together? I understand not all times work for everyone across the world, but middle of workday Friday for the US is obviously excluding a significant number of people. At least try to be fair to everyone.

The time is an issue because of the day. There is no way to work around it besides neglecting real world priorities. This isn't for one person, it's for an entire country. I don't think 4AM is fair either, but at least it doesn't overlap with work for 99% of people in that time zone. |

Agreed, CCP most of us are at work or at school at those times. o ok i see deadpool flexing my bad.. lol hes mad casue hes a lawyer 9-5 gig he misses alot of corp matches ,....
I can change it if you wish. However if your guys are game for making sure EVERYONE get's their lineup they want in, I'm not sure why you wouldn't support this. For the record I can make this time, and I still think it is making the tournament too reliant on external factors. |

It's not the time, it's the day. There is no reason to have it on a Friday if we are already scheduled for the weekend. |

This is asinine. You really think the best corp is determined by who has the most EU players or US players with no job? Honestly? You can't even take off because it is spaced out so much. |

Yes turrets have been OP for months, now the hulls they are attached to are paper. Since it's not changing before the tourney learn the counters that work and practice fighting different strategies. I still deeply disapprove of the Friday times when the resolution is so simple. |

While the two aren't necessarily the same, they're not mutually exclusive.
Turrets have broken amount of damage, yet everyone has fair access. The tourney schedule is not broken, but is completely unfair. |

I'm pretty sure that time zones will be abused by both attackers and defenders in the coming months once game goes live. The whole deal with it being one shard allows this kinda abuse. Everyone can't be on all at the same time.
Like Tony suggests, if it matters to you then change your schedule or don't bother. It's only going to become more of an issue later on.
Your viewpoint is narrow. It's a tournament, and they stretched it out over 3 weeks, 1/3 of which takes place in the middle of the work day for a large segment (perhaps even majority) of all players in the beta. There is no balance where it is good one week, bad another. There is no reason it cannot all be done on the weekend, we already have two 2-hour blocks scheduled. Adding another to each, or making Saturday a 6 hour event (so no TZ is during a weekday) would be the fairest without compromising anyone. Other than some corps not wanting to reshuffle the sweet hand they were dealt, I am not understanding the argument against condensing the competition to the weekend. Work > Video games. |
