Hi, i have some questions. My First Question is, When i buy a contract, and go into that mercenary battle, for one do i have to fight another corporation? and two do i have to bring my entire corporation or can i go with just me. and how do i win/loose? my second question, is about talking to eve online players. when im in a match, how do i ask for an orbital strike? ive only called 2 or 3 and just got them randomly. my 3rd question is, on local chat, is that the poeple that are near the solar sytem your on? or is that everyone? no one likes to talk :/.... my last question is there a headshot system? and just some tips on how to kill someone as quick as possible with an assault rifle or submachine gun? Lotta questions...
1. Yes you fight another corp. You can only have a total of 8 max in a corp battle on each side. Not sure why you would go in with just you...You win by how you would win in a regular skirmish match.
2. Not yet implemented,
3. Not sure. I thought they were people of the same race but... I think it is people in the same system.
4. There is not a 1 shot headshot system (unless using a sniper) if that's what you mean. Otherwise headshots do more damage. I believe x .25 I may be wrong.
Tips
To kill people with an AR I'd think just shoot them with good accuracy. I use HMGs mostly sooooo.....
To kill people with as SMG make sure your in close range and hip fire that thang!

Thanks . My question on the headshot- I Was playing today and i had full health (with 100k ISK on my suit  ), and some one walked up and i was shooting them and about 1 second later he drained my health completly and killed... like instantly... with a milita assault rifle... and normaly it would take like an entire clip just to kill them.. so does this mean that the headshot system is more powerful? thans for your anwser if you anwser this  |

It's more likely you were hit by a sniper or other powerful single-shot weapon that drained your health dramatically and the guy you were fighting just happened to get the last shot.
The guy above has pretty good advice/correct answers. Don't bother trying to line up a shot to the head if you're using an AR or SMG though, just aim for the body. |

There's also relatively significant lag that can make it appear as if a guy facing you hasn't shot any bullets and then you magically take a bunch of damage.
The last report I heard was actually a 2x damage multiplier on headshots. |
