lol see it's funny i used to play as a heavy so i can understand the frustration that is waiting for your Armor Repair Mod to do it's job. Sometimes it felt like they just weren't worth paying for since they weren't that effective unless you stood in a corner for 3-5 min waiting to come back to full health.

I run as Logistics now and i use a repair gun becuase i know how much it helped me when i was a heavy even though i don't get points for it now. If i see a heavy i instantly run to them and repair them cuz they are the meat of the infantry class and usually they can act as meat shields for my squishy Logistics suit. Give and take as it were.

I know CCP removed wp to stop boosting but surely you can turn it back on for healing players only, nobody can exploit this whilst ff is off, I mean it wouldn't be easy to damage yourself or someone else in a non time consuming way to make it worth trying to exploit this. What d you guys think? Anyone wanna back this idea up.

While I have not ditched the Rep tool, I am more inclined to let blues die so I can get the Res points instead of taking the repper off a Green. Yea yea, this isn't the permanent fix, new one next build, blah blah blah. But until then, I am screwed into either running AR and getting my WP at the barrel of a gun, or languish behind the team in terms of skills and eventually available gear. Not cool to shaft your LogiBro's. I whole heartedly agree with removing the WP from vehicle repping (temporarily while the final fix gets together), but removing WP from ALL Rep activities?

They aren't worth it. Between the armor repair and an extra armor layer, I'd pick the layer any day... but I never field unless I'm with a corp logi. Can't even try the shield heavy suit, it costs THREE TIMES the amount of the armor versions. Who in their right mind would pay 250k for a suit with less HP just so they can have a bigger rechargeable HP pool. And that is the SUIT. Not the fitting, not the gun, the SUIT. We need logi's out there, cuz without them to maintain the hoovs, we are going the way of the panda, only kept alive in small numbers that were heavily the result of preplanned grouping. We need Logi to have Heavy, its a damned Assaultfest out there.
