I feel as if CCP has went to a dispersion type set up here and has lost touch with the art of recoil balance this build.
In my opinion dispersion is always a bad way to try to balance guns because it just hurts gun game play in general. And then making a skill to reduce dispersion is even worse. It takes away the skill of the gun game.
I really think CCP need to re integrate recoil into there guns Currently all I have to do is point aim and a guy can be running at the very extent of my range but I just pull the triger and follow and get the kill. No need to burst fire because you have no kick. To me I feel this has made things easy mode and turned the mouse into a deadly weapon because for them pointing and clicking is very easy and when they do not have to adjust for recoil they can keep a very dead on accurate shots at all times.
This loss of recoil has also made sniping easy mode I feel. If I choose a high rate of fire sniper shot if someone pops out of cover I can drop 3 shots into them within seconds and not worry about recoil throwing off my aim.
For me I feel recoil in this build has been a big downfall in hurting gun balancing and making it more easy in the end for anyone to get a kill. I like it when i have to decide weather it is best to burst fire or if they are close enough to where i can just hold the trigger and kill. adds a challenge and separates the good players from the not go so good. |

I don't know. We're too slow to have no recoil. I can aim at where someone will appear, start firing just before they stick their head out and boom. 20shots in the face, while he tries to get a view on me. Recoil, strafe, omg op vehicles (you'll see...) I guess quite a bit of this depends on why they killed strafing. Waiting for Dev post on that. Then we'll see. |

everytime I see someone I just point my gun on the enemy head, hold trigger and my AR hits pinpoint accurately.
it looks like all the assault rifles got the stats from the breach of last builds regarding to weapon kick and recoil. really ******** if you think about this for a short moment.

Add a recoil already CCP. I use the Assault Rifle and I can say...it's way to easy at the same time Overpowered to use.
Alot of guns need a recoil. |

I can't agree enough and recoil is certainly something that's needed to address the clear AR superiority this game is suffering from. |

The guns need more recoil. Dispersion is okay if its a separate thing from recoil, caused by imperfections in barrel and/or projectile. Current dispersion is okay. A barrel rise and reduced accuracy with long burst or continuous fire is needed.
The vehicle mounted weapons are fine with just dispersion. The hmg with its stabilizers, and the smg being point blank auto spray are fine now.
The AR is main gun needing a little more recoil, if ar op lv5 reduced it to current it would be okay.
A future Minmatar rifle should be higher recoil, rate of fire, and range current ar. This would both match EvE and give a nice trade off in what gun characteristics the player preferred. I think projectile should have flight time and bullet drop as well.
The sniper rifle needs a little variance in where the barrel returns after shot, this could be reduced by the skill that lowers sway. |

There is a reason the most issued gun during war is an assault rifle, because it gets the job done. That being said though, it does need some recoil |
