For those of us that don't play Eve Online, can you please enlighten us as to what the actual figure is so that we can actually report if it's working or not.

The skill SP reset isn't happening on a Tuesday, It's Wednesday also I cannot report if the hard cap is working or not I I have no idea what the cap is.
I can however tell you that the SP earned is very low, as of today, 1 day after the point reset I'm already back down to just a few thousand (No Booster active) I believe I have earned approx 200K since SP reset.
Is this correct ? you knowing what the hard cap is. !, speculation that the cap is anywhere between 500K and 1.2 mil

The Omnipotens Zitro brothers said they started getting 0 SP at around 1,416,000 SP earned or thereabouts. The initial 500,000 of that would of course have been their starting SP. The server coming down for a hotfix may have reset the cap? Either way it's much higher than 200k SP. You do get diminishing returns of course, and as you get closer to the cap you'll be earning less and less, so to even hit the cap you will need to play quite a lot. |

Wanna know something funny? I remember reading that thread and was waiting to hit 0 sp after I got to that level. But I never hit 0sp. In fact, I had just passed 1.5M skill points before the reset and still didn't hit the cap. Granted, I was earning less than 10 and 5 skill points a game but I never hit 0.
So, I have no idea how it works. |

EvE max per week is 453,600 this is all passive in EvE.
I have heard the active boosters raise the cap and the passive sp doesn't count toward it. There was also a reset for the hot fix and the normal reset in the week Mr Zitro hit the hard cap. So the exact amount is hard to tell. |

This sounds more feasible, but it would be nice if CCP confirmed it. I've done about 250K so far and i'm have trouble getting SP now, very low at around 5K or less.
