The glitch made it fire seven hundred some rounds per minute, very few people can pull trigger/push button that fast, but a few can.
Many people with practice can fire five to six hundred a minute, which is still faster then a breech ar full auto.
I'm sure some are using modded controllers too.
Best fix in my opinion is lower max rate of fire to 500 to 600 rounds per minute, and buffer any trigger pulls that are faster then the rate of fire(human finger speed will not be constant so some pulls could be missed). Then the modded controller gives no advantage over somebody with some practice. |

give it the recoil and weapon kick from last builds back, problem solved, modded controller wont hit a barn with it when firing "full auto" |

Yeh, it's definitely a semi auto now. +1 to the actual reduction of RPM. I'd go so far as to say drop the RPM to 360. I think 6 rounds in a second is more than enough. If the breech, which is auto, has a low rate of fire, then a semi should be equal or lower again. |

I feel bad for you! I too have been shot by these fully auto TARs! All I say is meh! You go to to be a real no lifer and really suck just to get that advantage! But then again this is New Eden and everything goes! |

Same here with a mouse (we're talking about REALLY fast rate). But that is good as it takes skill to do that.
About the suggestion to make each shot kick/scatter, please remember that each individual shot is pretty weak. And what's written on the line above.
About maximum firing rate, I do find it silly for a tac to 'infinite' rof is pressed fast enough. Rof should be good yes, but there should be some roof. |

I did like using the Tac in the last build but unfortunately even after fixing it's auto fire in this build they've still left the scope horrible to use. It does have it's place though once it's fixed a bit more. |

I'm a TAR user. I can only back you up on that, 360 RPM must be enough. I don't think I can pull the trigger much faster than that and making rapid fire controllers useless through this change can only be good.
Some testing should be done, if a lot of people can fire much faster maybe the RPM should be capped at 420. |

That's where I feel a tactical longer range gun like that should be, 3-4 rounds a second .. no more then that. I don't care what people say, nobody can consistently for hours rapid fire their trigger 10-12 times a second... which clearly points to modded fast fire controllers being used, people got a taste of it on full auto and now they know how to keep and will abuse it til it's fixed |
