By what reasonable logic The only mecha anyone's actually built (maybe), is the Kuratas, and they gave it "smile-activated" twin BB gatling guns.
No one builds mecha based on reasonable logic. Haven't you ever watched anime? |

What are their control schemes like? Having trouble finding a layout. |

A bit like regular infantry controles but a lot more bulky and it was completely combat oriented as it used multiple weapon types at once ( missiles and lasers, Gatling and mortar, etc.) I just can't get behind an infantry one stick move one stick aim control style for an MTAC. Real mecha use two joysticks for movement. |

Vermaak Doe wrote:Would you want two stick for dropships and tanks? Besides no one will use it in your way, it's just plain bad to do with two sticks what can be done with one I take it you've never played a mecha game then? All of the ones i've played use a two-joystick control schema...though it has been awhile. Are there any new mecha games that are moving away from the two-stick schema? |

Armoured core 5 , that's the only one i can think of but it's for the best I might have to pick it up and give it a spin then. That said, I think that an MTAC shouldn't follow the control scheme of an infantry unit, ground vehicle or air vehicle. It needs its own unique scheme to master for an MTAC pilot to set themselves apart from the crowd. |

Someone has been playing too much Katamari Someone noticed If you've ever played it you know it's an amazing movement system |
