So first I would like to see points for hacked vehicles I think this has been mentioned in another thread and may have been addressed already.
Second I think if you hack an enemy vehicle and you win the game while in that vehicle with out having it destroyed you should be rewarded that vehicle as loot.
Thirdly I dont deploy vehicles much so I am not to sure on the mechanic so correct me if I am wrong. But If you deploy a vehicle and it survives the match and you win or lose you should get that item back in your inventory.
Just some thoughts I had and felt like sharing. |

Definitely IMO if you hack a vehicle and it survives to the end of a match-- win or lose you should have it added to your inventory.

I would also like to clarify that it should be the person who started hacking the vehicle first that gets the item if it survives at the wend of the match win or lose. That is to say its not the person who is driving the vehicle or in the vehicle last that gets the item but the person with the hack credit.
For instance say I hack the vehicle first and then some one assists me and we both survive and the vehicle is now part of our team the person who initiated the hack gets the item in salvage.
But if I start hacking the vehicle and some one assists me in the process and for some reason I die the second person that begin hacking the vehicle gets credit and revives the item in salvage. This same process would continue on say if the first and second person dies then the third person hacking would get the item in salvage.

This might become a reality as at the moment the salvage rewarded is from random tables of stuff. When new updates and builds make it possible to get gear that you would actually use and what was on the battlefield we may see the realization of this idea. |

Yea I agree the loot table is rather screwy at the moment I personally rarely get any loot. But just imagine how awesome it would be to hack a drop ship and then get it in your inventory. |

I think the vehicle should go to whoever is piloting it at the end of the round regardless of who hacked it.
If it went to the hack initiator why would they stick around to complete the hack or bother getting in it at all. If I get in a stolen tank and keep it alive until the round is over I wouldn't want it to go to someone else. Hacking a vehicle is easy, keeping it alive is the tricky part. |

I totally agree, what incentive does the hacker have to stay with the vehicle then? |

Implement some form of vehicle theft, I agree with this thread. And it is more Eve like doing this... |

Ownership of vehicle should go to the hacker, just like they called it in. What happens if somebody calls a vehicle in and somebody else is driving it at the end of match? It should be the same for hacked and called in. I have never had somebody driving my vehicle at match end, so I'm not sure what happens. |

I agree with this a simple way to address this could be as simple as the person who initiates the hack must continue hacking the vehicle until the hacking process is complete to receive the vehicle as salvage.
If the hack initiator dies or stops hacking for any reason the hack credit and item salvage will go to the next hack initiator in line. The same completion rule would apply to any group of players that are hacking the same vehicle starting with the first hacker and moving on to the second, third ect.
Another possible idea could be a king of the hill method the hack initiator upon completion of the hack gets a two minute salvage bonus head start. For that player to get the salvage at the end of the map he must not only keep the vehicle alive but he must also spend more time in the vehicle than any other player on his team. Say the hacker gets in along with two other players the hacker already has a two minute head start. If none of the players leave the vehicle and it survives the match the hacker gets the salvage. But if for some reason the hacker does not spend the most amount of time in the vehicle the player with the next most amount of time in the vehicle gets the salvage credit.
I don't think the vehicle should go to the player who was driving it last because I don't find it that challenging to keep a vehicle alive on the field. Besides you would not be able to ninja your team mates hacked vehicle and drive away with it if it wasn't for his or her hacking efforts. And if you hack a vehicle and walk away from it and it is destroyed no one gets it as salvage.
TL;DR
If you stop hacking before completion the next guy in line gets the salvage credit. Or we implement a king of the hill method the player with the most time in the vehicle gunner, driver, or passenger position gets the salvage credit. |
