Jax Nope! Becomes P2W then! Edit: Changed P2P to P2W
If anything it becomes "pay to play to win".
I'm talking only about increasing the skill cap, not getting SP bonuses or SP for free............
My interest was only sparked when reading another thread about PLEX etc and was wondering if CCP are trying to find an ISK faucet as well as income. |

Yep! I know exactly what you are talking about. This should give you a better idea about P2P2W consequences.
I'm not sure that particular post detailed enough about why it wouldn't work.
Don't get me wrong, I doubt I'll ever be good enough to need to purchase an increased SP cap, but it was the discussion i was interested in.
I assume your thoughts are that it will just allow players to run away with their skill points?

Reimus Klinsman wrote:K then. I've paid for Aurum, and I don't want it. As a paying player I don't want any of my winning to be pinned on the fact that I've paid. Rather I want it purely on my own merit. I already feel like I have a huge advantage with BPO standard suits. When I want to fight cheaply, I have a 4k is fit that has a standard suit stats.
Again, just to be clear, the idea was to extend the SP CAP, not to assist people in getting there.
If the cap is 1,000,000 SP for each week, then spending varying levels of AURUM (and it should be expensive) will extend that to a maximum 1,500,000 for example.
You still have to earn it.
