Before due to how modules could be placed as well as peoples own laziness in training AV tanks ruled this got them a harsh nerg and with tank soon to be coming back I suggest a rebalance of them because regardless of thiet OPness tanks should be a potential threat depending on module layout.
My first suggestion is buff their splash rafius again but give tanks ammo limits to.keep them from spamming fire. Along with a amo limit include a equipment slot vehicle resuply.
Next thing is tweak their turn and.acceleration some but seperate the driver from the main turret.
Takes should be powerful not unstoppable this buffs and limitation to tank would balance them out giving them plenty of raw destructive ability but forcing them to reley on the team gor resupply and weapons. |

Tanks should never be soloable and they are currently between swarms or forges tanks are pathetic for something design to take damage and dish it out. Tank should have been limited by logistic capability of their team not hard nerfs.
While tanks need a buff to splash they should get either a buff to turn speed or to HP not both one or the other.
Along with ammunition limits and requiring atleast one gunner would balance them out |

My.bug with the splash is that forge habe more splash than tank sized railguns.
Why not separate the two, its a faur trade off tanks require team effort to work in turn for more power |

Well practically tanks would have the same powers as prenerf but they would require you to work with other people. You can have nerfed tanks which act more like wheeled dropsuits or you can seperate the gunner and have powerful tanks, It doesn't matter how many tanks are out I could care less if you are willing to risk isk for reward the point is to have powerful tanks not make them lonewolfs pride.
If tanks got buffed back up and seperated the turret they would be a useful team tool but since they would require cooperation with other people for weapons and ammo they would be a TEAM ONLY weapon not a loners prize, that was the issue before not OPness but their use.
Tanks should be powerful weapons of war that require a team effort to use, then giving them plenty of power would be balanced agianst the effort to use and cost not just cost like it was before. It should be a corp tool not a loners seperate the driver and limit the ammo and buff them back up. |
