WarRavens started as a clan in MAG around 2 years ago and is currently expanding into Dust 514. We are one of the few big clans left in Mag that is still active. Our clan gives out PSN card prizes to our MVP's on our scheduled big deploys in MAG. These prizes are mostly given out by me personally and sent out via PSN messages if the prizes are PSN cards. Sometimes, we do have individuals other than me sponsoring extra prizes.
We value intelligence and team play above all else. As a group, we do our utmost to be respectful and minimize thrash talking. We'd rather spend our energy organizing. Most of our key members at the moment are Americans and quite a few Australians and New Zealanders. Since Dust is going to be a persistent shooter, we do want to be active around the clock. Natural leaders who want to lead specific time blocks are welcome to contact me. If you are interested in joining WarRavens, go to corporation in Dust 514, do a search for WarRavens and click apply, I will usually approve your application in less than 12 hours.
Currently, our Dust 514 set biweekly deploys have three $20 PSN cards as prizes for each deploy. We also have an ISK trade in program where ISK's can be traded in for $20 PSN cards. For now, this program is available to officers only. We will expand the program to every loyal member as soon as we set up rules and protocols for the program. We also want to tap into the pool of good players who don't have mics by offering them mics as prizes instead of the $20 PSN cards during the set corporate deploys. If you don't have a mic but is an excellent player who listens, don't hesitate to apply to the corporation.
Visit our NEW professionally maintained website www.warravens.enjin.com. You can also apply on our website. Our current members are just starting to register. Registration on our web site will eventually be made compulsory. |

Currently, we are getting our MAG members to establish themselves in Dust 514. We will hold our first deploy with three $20 psn card prizes in Dust as soon as our members level up their skill points sufficiently, hopefully, a week or two from this post. So members, play Dust 514 as much as possible!! |

WarRavens are considering an ADDITIONAL program where the corporation gives $20 PSN cards to members who want to trade in their isk's. The amount of isk's per $20 PSN card hasn't been determined yet. We think this will help isk rich members who are aurum poor, because they can buy aurums with the $20 PSN cards! |

I have accepted your application, Face. Yes, we are considering the tournament, even though the corporation had just been formed in Dust. I do ask for patience from people who had just joined, we are still organizing and drawing up corporation rules since Dust is very different from MAG. I appreciate all constructive inputs. Programs like the isk trade for $20 PSN cards would need to be discussed among key members. The main point would be coming up with a fair number for the isk's that can be traded in for a $20 psn card |

I would like to summarize what our corporation offers to our members, we have three $20 PSN cards for the mvp's of every set biweekly deploys and isk trade in program. Isk trade in program means you can trade in your isk for a $20 PSN card. This program is currently online for officers only but will be expanded to regular members as soon as we set up rules and protocols. Currently, we need more pilots but do welcome everyone who are intelligent team players. |

Latest update is that we are considering mics as well as $20 PSN cards as prizes for the corporate deploys, this is to help out the exceptional players who don't have mics. 99 percent of the corporation's members have mics, we want to keep the mic percentage high and be accessible to good players who don't have mics. Good players without mics can pick mics as their prizes if they win during set corporate deploys |

This is how the corporation process applications. We do not reject applications outright based on statistics, instead we accept most applicants and key members would observe them and decide if they are team players. So, if anyone thinks their appications have been unreasonably rejected outright, go ahead and reapply, as their applications probably was never received. |

A couple of quick questions:
1) Do the majority of your folks use mikes?
2) Can I expect some command structure within individual battles? Or is it just a loose conglomeration?
1) The answer to your first question is yes, 99 percent of the corporation use mics. We do let some good people without mics join the corporation as we have set biweekly deploys where you can either win CEO sponsored mics or $20 PSN cards. If someone without a mic wins in the biweekly deploy, that someone would have to pick the mic as a prize.
2) The answer to your second question is you can expect to see some command structure within individual battles. We formed the corporation to organize and be strong militarily, socializing comes second, although that is a welcomed bonus.

XAINDOR wrote:I may be looking for a decent corporation as well. I haven't sank much time in the beta, considering it's just that, a beta. But I have hundreds of hours of MAG experience behind me(still play it actually), and I plan on speccing fully into logistics, because I value playing a support role, over worrying about my KDR. That said, I do like having some sort of leadership. I always run as squad leader with my usual group in MAG. How will you pick leaders outside of your clan that is carrying over from your MAG clan? Will you pick others at all?
Given your reward system, and your emphasis on the value of teamwork, I like the sound of this clan. Get in touch with me if you can fill me in, or if you want to play some MAG sometime. I play every night.
I do have to disagree with you XAINDOR, about you not playing the game because it's a beta. The beta is a good opportunity for you to build skills, gain knowledge about the game, organize and get to know your corporation's team members. Our corporation plans to be well established and organized well before the game comes out.
The answer to the question about how will we pick our Dust 514 leaders from outside our Mag clan is that we will first make sure they are committed to the corporation. Commitment will be measured in the following, time and assets spent in the corporation, ideas and intelligence given to the corporation and all three Dust character slots must be in the corporation.
Feel free to add me to your Dust contacts list and message me in game.

Advancements within the corporation are available. Our Board of Directors fully understand fresh ideas and leaders will continually make the corporation better and welcome leaders with open arms. However, given the nature of the game where infiltration is a possibility, one of our safety protocols require members to be in the corporation one to two months before advancement in rank.
Our basic rules of conduct are common sense, show respect, no harrassment of female gamers, be considerate, etc. In short, behave like you would in a civilized community. Thanks Scarllett.
Visit our new, professionally maintained website at www.warravens.enjin.com. Please register at the website and apply in game.
Rules aside, we are a well organized but laid back corporation that hasn't lost sight of the fact that this is still a game and fun is a driving factor. |

WarRavens is offering a US$100 PSN card each for the first 3 corp members able to stay in the top 20 on the leaderboards for a 30 day period. (Wins/Losses Leaderboard will not be a part of this challenge)
In order to be eligible, the player must have all 3 characters in the WarRavens corporation (only need to be playing one character) and be an active player during the 30 day period.
These prizes are personally sponsored by our corporation's CEO, Snowraven WarBringer. Members of WarRavens have until the end of January 2013 to take up this offer. For example, if you happen to get in the top 20 on Jan 30, 2013 and stay for 30 days till March 1, 2013, you win a US$100 PSN card.
If a member from outside the US wins these three prizes, we will do our utmost to give them their equivalent PSN card in their region. |
