I have som question about battling in low and null sec :
1. If we se a random planet with districts, can a corp attack that district ?
2. Will it be possible to attack a district thats owned at any time ?
In EVE its possible to attack at any time , anyone thats red . It means you have to be alert all the time, like EU attack US at their weakest time. Do you think it will come to that in EVE also. Some of the DEV talked about a corp could put out automated defence to protect their district.
I am just exited how sandbox it will be, if it turns out that the other corp has to be online and ready to fight over a district its not that sandbox. All should be possible.
Senario :
Planet found , scan there is a medium defended district possible to take over.
Get support from EVE players , put Dust514 personell on ground , call in orbit destroy defence. Merchs go in clean up, hack put up a district corp module, you now have a district.
The other owner wakes up WTF.....
Any thoughts.... |

In EVE you can't take over anything at any time. It usually takes at least 12-24 hours, giving the defending corp time to defend it. |

Yes I now about station takover, pos bashing, been there. and the SOV mechanics I now about. But still will it be possible in a distant system without a station, just pasing through , there is a lot of them in Null.
I am just woundering how sandbox it will be, or must all fights be fixed in advanced. I would like to drop out of WH with orbital support, attack a district , just to fu... up for others. Just for beeing a pain in the a.... unpredicted. |

Yes but you can attack at any time, no one cant predict that, but you are right its possible to defend it before takeover, I am just talking about beeing able to be random , suddenly attack not agreed in front. |

According to this http://community.eveonline.com/updates/patchnotes.asp it looks like Dust is going to make its debut in high sec and faction warfare. So based on that, wherever there's factiona warfare, there can be Dust514 action. |
