What do we expect from you as a DUST soldier? Nothing.. yet!
But we know that soon DUST is also going to influence how we control space in EVE, and for that we are already aiming to build up a solid defence & attack army of planet-side troopers. Initially, you will become part of the alliance, we will support you in any way we can, be it ISK, Orbital Striking or premade matchmaking.

We will first of all give access to a very solid Corporate Wallet, pretty much pouring ISK into your accounts to stay ahead of the curve and be the best that you can be.

We just want you to enlist in Yulai, to be in hard training, to hone your skills.. And for that we are also helping you set up corporate matches, giving you the chance to fight other organised elite teams out there so that you can become stronger, faster, more deadly, and plan the Yulai banners on all planets in New Eden! And we will do everything in our power to give you that chance!!

Once the changes take universal effect, you will be able to defend our current regions in space, and also be a part of the attacks claiming new Systems, Constellations and even Regions in time.

As i stated in OP, we are part of a coalition with CVA. Again, they are the 2nd oldest alliance in EVE, (and biggest only by a small margin within our coalition, 300 man more than Yulai Federation). CVA started out, much like Ushra'Khan (5 days older than CVA) back in 2004 as a Role Play Alliance, yes.. While Ushra'Khan have changed styles and leadership many times over the years, they have grown into a solid group that dont identify themself with being "role players" specifically, but there is a small part inside that alliance that still does RP yes. Same goes for CVA. Its been years since they considered themself a RP Alliance! You can ofcourse also find a random guy yelling out "Amarr Victor!!" etc in local chat, but apart from that there really isnt much left that validates putting a RP stamp on CVA.... Only thing thats still the same is that they after 8 years still fight for the same region of space. Not to chase after riches in the north, but cause they have found the place they wanna call home. As to how you came to apply this to Yulai just shows your uninformed about the region, and in your shame choose to ignore it and brand it as "the place where those RP-dudes hang out".. As your final flaw, CVA itself isnt even 25% of the total in the coalition. Your wrong sir, so very wrong, and i'll just leave it at that.. But as for the "Anti Pirate" part of it, your right however. Being a pirate in EVE is a profession that involves just going into low sec / 0.0, and shoot on everything thats moving and not part of your fleet/corp/allies. Or in some cases, it dont even matter if they are that, a pirate takes pride in being as much of a internet spacepirate scumbag as possible, backstabbing your closest friends all in the name of profits. Or if someone told you piracy is about the Good Fights. they are very likely a pirate themself, feeding you biased lies to gain recruits for that livestyle. Cause lets face it, being a pirate isnt something you do to make profits, its something you do cause you where told when starting that these guys got the most PvP and sounded the coolest, and so you started walking that road to have most fun, and thats fine... YF try to work against piracy for many reasons, most importantly cause we find it unhonorable to shoot your friends in the back after months/years of working side by side, just for virtual money. The alliance motto is "Honour and Decency!", and for us, thats what its all about. Not RP, but to be respectful to your friends and allies, and make a stand against the corruption and scamming thats gotten EVE so much attention. Ofcourse that is a part of the game that wont go away, infact its what makes so EVE unique, but its still something we wish to NOT be associated with. We love to shoot stuff just as much as the next guy, we just choose to not be jerks about it. On a personal note, i choose this playstyle cause its the closest to my own persona in real life i can. I choose to have fun on my own terms. Not to pretend to be something im not... But hey, dont that make you the one roleplaying? Does that make us weak? I certainly dont think so! It makes us respected in return by our allies, that once you are considered a friend of us, to know you can trust us being there to help you out if something goes wrong. Not to have that constant feeling so many other coalitions have : "So when are these guys going to betray us?" (OTEC vs NC. anyone?) We're not Goons, known for being more likely to scam you than anything else when they offer you a hand. And we're not -A-, making up excuses to dock up and not come to your aid when things get rough. We're not Solar who pretty much shoot anything as long as it involves expanding their space. And we're not TEST, for.. well, lets just say we're not TEST ;) Does our NRDS* policy make us less involved in PvP ? Oh, you couldnt be more wrong! Cause of this policy, the Providence Region attracts so much PvP by having outsides roam in our region, making it the very best place to be if you want to fight. Infact, 2nd system in EVE on the PvP scoreboard is HED*, the system where Providence residents, its holders in -A- and a huge score of unaligned pvp'ers come to clash in something that could only be described as the biggest 0.0 gladiator arena of New Eden. And to kill Makalu and make him cry, pretty much what all of EVE enjoy doing.. NRDS = We dont shoot people we dont know are hostile. Everyone is pretty much innocent until proven otherwise. ** 1st being Jita for obvious reasons.

If you cant find the medium sized orange/blue/teal part of the map right next to -A-, then you should seek a ophthalmologist and have him check your color vision. But who claimed that we are a "major Eve Player"? We're far from it, but we are also not part of a alliance mainly built up from low SP toons who's main advantage is being the biggest blob, pressing F1 with the grand illution that your Drake really matters. We actually fly more ships than that, and our strength isnt blobbing.. 44 of us vs 53 from TEST alliance,biggest alliance in the game, on their ground? We play in various platforms and games as a unit, more like a family. We dont have a million memebers in our crew but we have a strong community in MAG, SOCOM, Battlefield, Killzone, Counterstrike and so on. Yes we like FPS, not just for the shooting aspect of it. We play as a team. We have recently started our corporation in DUST and started training pur players. I must say this isnt exactly like other FPS, there is a lot to learn here. :) We are recruiting currently, but very privately. Mostly friends and clan/crew members. We will soon have most of our players in Dust. From what I read in this thread, we would be glad to be a part of your ground forces. We dont like backstabbers either.
