I agree completely but ccp probably sees $ in people buying skill clusters and boosters to make up for their lack of SP...

Dear Mr almighty the statement was sarcastic, implying that most if not all fps on console are rubbish right now...lol...the point being you can grind dust, or pay to increase SP returns in a game where the concept is great but the execution ordinary, or pay to buy a game where the concept is dated and repeated, but the execution is slick and polished....
Either way, its bad....

Either way, its bad.... Have you ever played a game of DUST. At least these so-called "rubbish games" can master simple game mechanics like: Hit-Detection and Frame Rate. You really want to know whats rububish really is? Its having a beautiful concept like DUST, getting ruined by Devs that do not have the slightest idea how to make a FPS. Re-Read what I wrote, its basically what you said.
Dust has a great concept but the execution is poor, the other fps are the same old fps concepts but they are executed professionally, so things like hit detection or frame rate, are not issues....
I play dust but it gets so boring playing in 1v1 or 1v2 matches on huge maps, so I stop after maybe two games and then go back to either Planetside2 beta, or MAG if I am feeling nostalgic.....
