Actually, it's a got lot to do with MAG players trying to one up the EVE players and i've just found something amazing tonight that's going to really throw some mud into MAG players eyes.. or more specifically ROFL.

I've been saying since before the Beta, the DUST 514 Forums are going to be the worst forums on the face of this planet once the game goes live.

Regarding Dust 514 forums. It's CCP's fault if it goes to hell. I've told them several times that it's better to have a hard moderation than this pathetic excuse of it we have now. And it's valid both here and in-game.

Why would people not troll or insult when they have examples of others doing it and never being worried in any way ?

When I first got here and talked about MAG some people said "oh no the maggots are arriving"

Then the hate started

Some people, those from MAG, who were here before me, stated that the arrival of the MAG crew started the uncivilized behaviour, but the thing is, the people saying all this stuff, who were here just after Reykjavik, they participated heavily in the trolling, once the rest of their MAG kiddie crews flowed in....

Question: Do you think those who thought themselves to be MAG elite have dragged this forum into the gutter, the same gutter that the MAG forums were?

Personally i can see that right now Dust is not very good. I've played many, many FPS games over the years but one thing that i do know is that Dust won't be good on release but it will grow into something amazing at CCP's hands.

I beta tested EVE back in the day but i hated the game back then, it was too boring and there wasnt enough to do but just look at it now.

CCP released EVE as something totally barebones and have just expanded it on every 6 months for the last 10 years, I've got a lot of faith in what they will do with EVE given people trust them and give them a little time.

also, we are playing the "easiest" version of the game at the moment and people still find it too hard.
