Look, I'm not going to sit here and say nothing in DUST has ever been OP, but really guys...you need to think before you type. I know this is going to be hard for some people but just stick with it, trust me. Next time you think something is OP and needs a nerf why don't you, instead of posting another kittenkittenkittenkitten nerf thread, put forth some effort to find something that could use a buff? As in, something that could be made more awesome to counterbalance whatever you think is OP?
It's really very simple, actually. OP things kill too many people. You nerf them and less people die. That equals less fun. So instead of whining that you're dying all the time maybe we could think of some ideas that would let you take a few of the bastards with you? Or maybe give you a chance to kill them and make them whine. This game is fun when everybody gets killed a lot and there's explosions and all sorts of cool stuff. So you're losing your suit? So what? If you get more kills you get more money and have more fun. What do you think is better? Going 5/4 in a match or going 12/10? So what are some things that could use a buff? |

Haven't messed with the knife but I hear it isn't good.
I can see an issue with the scoutsuit's CPU. But then again, it's in keeping with the rest of the suits. Just a bummer that you can't fit the more advanced weapons on the lower tier suits as easily as you can on the rest of them.
And what's wrong with small blaster turrets? |

Yea, I've played a good bit of almost every weapon class (except shotguns, they just weren't for me) and I can say that AR's aren't OP at all. The only issue with them is that they require almost no SP to dominate. They are pretty beastly right from the start. Right now everyone running AR's is dominating because the rest if us have to deal with the SP cap to get the good stuff. Seems like SP is the real issue anyway. |
