It would seperate the people with no mics from the people with mics.
Yup,there is a serious mic deficiency in this game/beta.Furthermore,there needs to be a command structure like in MAG which allows a platoon leader to communicate to the entire team, letting them know what objectives to take.
As it is now,it's pretty much a free-for-all,as none of the other squads are on the same page, and if people would use the team chat function, that would solve a lot of these problems,or maybe not, because the majority of the playerbase doesn't use a mic anyway,so I guess it's all a moot point.
I would be in favor of mic only match making. |

I'll admit I found it easier when I had one, MW2 had a ton of players On mic then, when I switched to ps3 and black ops .. you could hear a pin drop. Not saying that you are wrong, because I don't own a 360,but I really don't understand why this is the case.
What's not easy about plugging a headset into the USB port,or even better, turning on your Blutooth settings to at least use an earpiece?
Again, not saying that your wrong, but using a headset on a PS3 seems to be just as easy as on 360.
Honestly,I think that it's just certain games that the playerbase utilizes headsets more than others.
I remember on MAG,everyone in every clan that I was in had a headset. We made it a rule that if you didn't have one,you didn't get into the clan, plain and simple. There was just too much teamwork needed to not have one.
Now I remember playing Gotham City Impostor, and hardly anyone had a mic, mainly because of the nature of the game. It's pretty much every man/woman for themselves, and the maps weren't the biggest,so communication really doesn't matter. |
