Strafe speed should not only be nerfed, but completely removed. player's should not be able to move side to side at all. This game should be run on a "who sees who first basis."
Equipment needs to have a much larger impact on the way a battle plays out. Militia equipment needs to literally be useless, while enhanced, and complex modules too need give you 5X more of a buff then they do now. This promotes tactical play.
Vehicles need not only be silent, but also be nearly unstoppable. revert tanks back to the way they were last build, and keep the speed a drop ship has now, but increase it's health for both shields, and armor.
The mass drivers needs to have it's splash damage radius increase 5X more then it is now so it can actually be used as an area denial weapon.
Snipers need to have an auto lock on feature that allows it to instantly track a targets head, and fires for you.
The HMG needs a range buff of 1000 meters.
orbital strikes need to have a MUCH larger area of affect the covers 3/4 of any map we play on.
Give players' that have joined after a year since release full proto gear, and level 5 characters.
give the assault rifle a dam boost of 50 points, and 100 more shots per mag.
with these changes, I am sure this game will become the top FPS of the year. |

Bravo sir, I actually thought this was serious in the first few sentences, was about to say wtf?
Don't forget we need all grenades to be explode on contact, not just those thukkers, and why isn't my heavy a tank with feet? Only AV should be able to hurt a heavy. |

You forgot the changes to Aurum items:
1. Aurum items should have no skill requirements 2. CPU/PG used would be 4x less than the ISK versions 3. Weapon damage is always 3x higher 4. Aurum Dropsuits have cloaking devices |

Tanks controls are horrible to. I should be able to strafe boost to dodge incomming swarm missiles and squash more puny infantry. (tanks are fine right now btw IMHO, but this is a great thread). |

Needs more kittens.
And when I use a Nova Knife, I need a lock on timer which removes the ability to move from my enemies. Also Lasers need a rainbow light and serious nerf. |

It was mentioned, I believe on IRC, that we only see Precision Strikes now because they're the only orbital interdiction that the warbarge is capable of. When we start getting off-site support from EVE players one of the options will be a carpet-bomb style orbital strike. |

- Sub machine guns should only get a level damage bonus of 1% and have their accuracy cut in half when you aim directly at someone's head while moving or jumping.
- It should cost 100k each time you jump while in a gunfight.
- "Fun" should be a 10x skill that you have to train, someone who has less SP than me should not be having as much fun.
- They should put a "win" button at the center of the map that only someone with under a .5 K/D can operate.
- If you can get close enough and successfully jump on a tank it should burst into a shower of golden coins. |

Additionally the boss fights neat to be a bit more...hyper dramatic. Where's the lava? Where's the cutscene intro? Where's the camp of 20 people waiting on the spawn timer for that awesome loot? Or wait, the lava is the forge gun in my face, the cutscene intro is the lag, and the spawn campers are actually waiting for ME hoping to loot the medic that I called for support ;oP. Joking, I only played Dust514 during E3 when tanks were cheap and skirmishes had 2 stages! Oh how I miss destroying relays to unlock more map an blitzing for the base, anyone else remember that? |

I think our beta experience would be a lot better if they added more players to the map and greater access to vehicles, maybe lower the isk, anyway the main problem in my opinion is there is not much for an element of chaos yet on the battlefield.
I believe that once there are more actual mercs on the battlefield and more vehicles in the air and on the ground in greater numbers then will see more interesting and exciting gameplay . Ex.. Mobile spawn points on top of some of those huge buildings then base jumping down to the objectives. 8 man squads even better, Anyway I have been playing DUST Since June and the only reason I still log on is so that when this game does finally reach its Massive Multiplayer Battles I will be ready.
Currently the game is bland but all the tools are there its just that nobody can afford to use them, lol, kind of sad, but eventually as more actual mercs are in game then even noobs will be able to catch rides on tanks and dropships and gain xp that way.,
My point is that this game has not shown what its true gameplay will be like yet because its 16 on 16 in huge maps, I personally cant wait to see like 4-6 dropships in the air, mercs jumping out of them, forge guns firing in the sky, swarm rockets flying around 10-20 tanks on the ground, mercs hidden in the compounds its going to be sic, that is what this game is about and much more, so have some patience and hurry up :) and lets get players more players on the battlefield, so that when this game does come out its going to be awesome and captivate all the people who begin to try it out for the first time when the game finally launches. |
